I'm not keen on signing anyone who pubicly said they want Rangers to win the league. That's sort of the opposite of what we want

Would rather we invested that £2m in Daniel Larsson, but that's just me.

I'll never forget the way he celebrated against us when he scored at Tannadice last season. It just made me think right away that this * can't stand us and I get the feeling he'd only be here for the money and nothing more. He probably would go missing in Old Firm games and European encounters, only trying when it suits him.

Sounds a bit like a certain Mr Miller who never wanted to play to his full potential for Celtic

Nah... I think as he grew more mature and experienced he will be brilliant for Celtic... I used too not think he was the right man but now I want Celtic to get him. A player has changed before when they have joined Celtic and it will happen again.

He done the same when he scored the winner against the huns at ibrox though, ran over as if he rolled a bowling ball and slid on his knees

And that was a last minute winner that looked like it had lost the huns the League.

But it's also happened the other way. When Riordan came here he was a wee chav bassa - we gave him a chance, he remained a wee chav bassa and eventually got dropped for that reason. And later punted.

Goodwillie is a wee chav bassa who has already faced assault charges a couple of times, then rape charges, and I gather he is currently awaiting the outcome of other legal proceedings. In short, a bit of a scumbag - sure he could turn over a new leaf, but do we really want to have to gamble on that, as well as the football side of things?

65 SPL STARTS, 28 goals, I'd definitely take him based on that, if he went to the Huns we will regret not going for him, him and Jellyfish will be a good partnership up front. We can spend £2m, well we are interested in Mphela for around the same amount and simply because he is proven in the SPL I would take Goodwillie, that doesn't mean I am ruling Mphela out, but I wouldn't be against buying Goodwillie. I do think he will go down south though :50:

38 games, 17 goals and 13 assists. That's a great record for a young striker playing at a smaller club- he'd get so many more goals at Celtic.

Ah right, I'd never seen that before now. Or if I had, I'd just forgotten about it. I don't know what to think about it then, but as I've said many times before, I trust the judgment of Lenny and his backroom staff. If they think he's good enough to wear the Celtic jersey, then I'll go with what they say :50:

ive said no on countless occasions but now hes not got this rape allegation against his name im in favour of him joining us, think he would score a barrel load with the chances we lay on and he is only young, plus it would be another kick in the balls for sally :icon_mrgreen:

Those are some pretty good statistics too mate. The quality of player around him is definitely better at Celtic than it is at any other club in Scotland, so I'd say he'd get about 20+ goals here in a season, if he always gave it his best shot and Lenny played him regularly.

Cant see us signing him tbh if we got strikers on trial from halfway across the world and Goodwillies been right on our doorstep and we know what pedigree he has.
