A wee bit of hope for Leipzig - Simons picked up a knock last night and is expected to miss the next few weeks

 

Leipzig will be tough to be fair and we could quite easily lose it...so here's hoping!

 

Leipzig have 0 points. They'll be determined to win.

 

Also they will be under pressure to come to our back yard and win. I worry about the pace of Openda & Sesko but in transitions we can hurt them but hey ho I said same about Dortmund.

 

Whatever happens against Leipzig we shouldn't overreact.
Win two of the following three and we're through.

 

I think we will beat Leipzig and put seven points on the board, because we are riding the crest of a wave again after last nights' heroics in Italy.

And CCV should be back too.

 

I honestly think we should set up similarly against Leipzig, though obviously we will have more opportunities to attack. I don't think we should revert to trying to overwhelm them, they're a better side than that.

 

Leipzig looked a powerful team v Liverpool this will be a tough one..

 

Tbh I think this will be one of our harder games. Hopefully leipzigs finishing is pish.

 

Leipzig looked very dangerous against Liverpool albeit they lost by a slender goal. This will be a very difficult tie at home and should approached like an away game.

 

Just looked there and Leipzig are the form team in Germany right now and tied for top spot in the Bundesliga with Bayern. Dortmund are 7th...

We're getting * horsed again...

 

Leipzig are always a team that go through wild swings of form, either amazing or poor. I don’t expect a win against them at all, I also don’t think it’s impossible.


Ignore there form, defend well, be brave attacking but not reckless. They’re in form right now, if they don’t beat us and we get a result then it’s the start of the downswing for them. They are a club that rarely have a middle ground, them being bang on it in the build up towards playing us doesn’t change much for us than when we first seen we’d play them at Parkhead at that stage.


But them being on form, what Dortmund done to us, then how * immense defensively we were in Italy… it’s a good team to judge where we really are as a team right now. Especially it being at Parkhead.

 

Googled the Bundesliga form table, maybe ignore my reasonable measure comment above - Dortmund are 9th in it RBL 2nd. We’re *

 

Maybe they've just had an easier run of games

Set up right and we can still beat any one at Celtic park with the fans behind us, this games no different

 

Win Novembers matches and we are in play offs with 3 matches to go including a home match

 

If that happens, surely we should be pushing for top 8 to get automatic into the last 16
