Celtic in the UEFA Champions League 2024-25

I know people are pointing to the Feyenoord game where they pumped Bayern 3-0. When you see that stats though it’s the most scandalous 3-0 you’ll ever see. I think we can give them a right good game at home and any win at least gives us something to cling on to. That’s what we’ve got to be aiming for. We’ve shown in Atalanta we can produce a backs to the wall job, and in the end Atalanta ran out of ideas that night. It’s highly unlikely, but you never know.

 

It's a good thing that it's a home leg first.

I know that's generally not preferred but when you play a European giant like Bayern, where it's not unrealistic for us to get scudded 5-0 away, the home tie first is much preffered.

Allows us to dream.

This is why I think the home leg first is better, gives us hope for the second leg or at least I hope it does if we can at least get a draw

 

I watched the highlights and their goalkeeper had one of the best goalkeeping performances I've ever seen. Some unbelievable saves.

 

Much better being at home first let for atmosphere , hope will spring eternal pre kick off.

 

We need to play like we did against A Madrid in th 70s for us to get a proper result need to upset them and no give them a moments peace

 

The atmosphere for this will be absolutely electric. To be honest I would be surprised if we give them much trouble over both legs. Maybe at home we can keep it respectable but we have to be realistic which we often aren't. This is a team stacked with quality all over the pitch.

Call me negative or whatever but it is just good to have qualified and not been the whipping boys. The new format has worked well for us so the Bayern game is a free hit.

 

If CCV misses this for whatever reason we will be in real bother .

This is so true I said other day some of the passes especially McGregor like not giving a * about the situation for instance passing g back to restart I get .passing back to scales when theirs two guys pressing him at same time is a no no and needless done with no * given aswell and then will turn around and blame defence as if it’s their fault

Saying away game will be selected on prime as their is only two British picks at this stage to pick from … will be our first game in that platform I’d advise everybody to tune in that night let prime know theirs an audience here for football

The stupid pyro * should be banned for rest of season if thanks to those arseholes it costs decent Celtic supporters the chance to attend the away match against Bayern Munich.

First match they should be banned from is the home leg against Bayern and definitely the home match against the huns

 

Find who done it, ban them from Celtic park and put the point across to UEFA that have taken action and hopefully allowed fans in Munich for the game !! Shocking we might be playing the 2nd leg of a champions league play off with no fans in their stadium

 

We've gave big clubs a hard time at Celtic park before we've also laid down to them.
