Bayern constantly throw in crosses so need to pack the box when they have possession.

They also look weak down the wings defensively on the counter so Kuhn and Maeda could be very important if we're to have any chance.

Villa had never lost a goal at home in the Champions League before, and we got two, so we definitely have players that can hurt them. The problem is the midfield, who don't screen our defense properly. If Brendan is smart he will go with two DM's ideally McGregor and Bernardo against them, and go 4-2-3-1.

the whole point of the champions league is to be mixing it with the top teams ,always feel we can give anyone a game at home getting through the tie im not so confident ,with a couple of good additions you never know

Over two legs we will get beat, what id like to see is us at least still in the game when we go to Munich, that would be progress.

Need to show we can change our game up and frustrate higher quality teams while also showing some threat at the top end of the pitch.

This is where you want to be though. You especially, Peter.

Also if we'd won one of the games against brugge or Zagreb we'd have had a much more winnable tie so in future hopefully it's not as bad.

It's just our luck. Then across the city they had a 10% chance of finishing top 8 and needed 5 results to go theirnway and they did. Classic.

Codding ourselves if we don’t get KT and Kvistgaarden in during the window - or similar players, whatever. Would * love if we signed a proper 6.

Let's review. We all thought 10 points would see you safely through the playoffs but it turns out not even 11 us a guarantee.
12 is the benchmark for qualification.

We got real lucky this year by punching above our wait against pot 1 and 2 teams.

But if we put the teams where they should have been it looks a little different.

Pot 1 was dortmund and liepzig but really it should have been villa, so in most season we'll wind up with 0 points here, thankfully liepzig had a horror campaign and we got 3 points.

Pot 2 was atalanta and brugge, when it should have been the Italians and liepzig, 2 points is OK and honestly is probably what we hope to achieve every season

Pot 4 was slovan and villa when it really should have been young boys, in most seasons we want 6 points here which we basically got, bonus was we git them both at home cause villa was in pot 4.

Pot 3, this is where things could have cost us and will cost us in the future, we got young boys and Zagreb here but on a regular year it would gave been Zagreb and brugge, so in essence we got 2 points against the real pot 3 teams, not good enough really, if we want to qualify in the future without relying on punching above our weight then 12 points against pot 3 and 4 is our best hope.

We can't go into future campaigns * up at home to brugge and failing to beat an injury ravaged Zagreb, another 4 points here would have put us in the top * 8 something we'll probably never get the chance to achieve again.

We need to be much better against the pot 3 teams in the future cause we'll never get this kind of favourable draw again.

Bayern it is, please for the love of * don't get humiliated celtic.

We'll give it a good go at home, but away we get rinsed.
