    Works for me! Good player, engine, ability. Will give his all, etc, etc. And with rumours about Commons & Southampton, then possibly it's a like for like.

    Also, re the left we currently have;

    Ledley (who a lot of folk prefer at CM)
    Commons (hard to say re current form as missed too much of the season)
    Sammy (playing some of his best football right now - but will this change once the window closes?)
    McCourt (wouldn't surprise me if he goes to Blackpool if Hunt does sign)

    Also do we know if this is a loan or a permanent move? Nothing noted in the article but then again no quotes either.

    So, could this just be yet another case of an Irish player, not currently getting a game, being linked with Celtic...?

    Stephen hunt is a good player. He is twice the player of his brother. He is quick,can beat a man and he never gives up. Plus he has goals in him too.

    I'd punt paddy and samaras in this window if we can bring in hunt and a striker. If we punt just one of samaras and mccourt I'd bring in hunt.

    If we can get loovens out the door by tomoro midniight I'd bring the pole in earlier.

    we have too many wingers? * .. thats like saying we have too many strikers, but everyone wants another striker to come in ..

    forrest, commons and from what i gather of ibrahim, are wingers. samaras has been playing decent on the wing, but i would rather not have to rely on him for a full season, and mccourt really isnt a winger, hes more of an attacking midfielder

    have a missed any of our "wingers?"

    Has never been found wanting in an Ireland jersey.Gives 100% everytime super aggresive pain in the * just what we need for tough away games .I say yes.Must be hot air tho cant see McCarthy letting him go the posistion they are in.
