nothing was set in stone with rangers and i think most fans felt the spl would find away back in for them so no fans are to blame. But celtic rushed the deadline for season tickets so they could get your hard earned cash before any news on what would happen to rangers came out

If being unhappy about paying an extra £84 for two games against Dundee makes me a * supporter so be it. The board takes us for granted.

That letter is incredibly cheeky no matter which way you look at it.

The obvious reason why teams can put their prices up each year without any justification is of course due to the very special "brand" loyalty that exists in football. Celtic increase prices because they know that while a few people wont be able to go anymore, the majority of regular goers will find the money somehow (even if they probably shouldnt!). Normal rules of economics do not apply when brand loyalty is so strong. Is there another example of a business when knowing sales are dipping each year, decide to increase the price of their product without actually improving the product? It can only happen when people are so loyal they are willing to pay almost anything they can no matter how poor the product.

And most of the time as fans we accept this. We reap the benefits in the excitment we get from watching titles being won and watching good players come to our club. We may recognise paying £26 to watch Celtic v Ross County isnt real value but as long as it keeps the club going we pay anyway.

But when it comes to statements such as the one we are discussing, it begins to feel that the club is taking the * and people are right to object. Not only are they charging too much to begin with and increasing prices when there is no improvement on the pitch, but they are now implying if you have paid more than the guy next to you, then you shouldnt ask for fair value otherwise you arent as good a fan as others. At a time when 1000s of seats are empty the board should be giving incentives to people to get involved with the club, not squeezing every penny out of the guys they know are their most loyal fans. Pretty horrible in my opinion and I completely agree with those objecting.

Yeah they brought the deadline forward and took the season tickets offline sooner as well. The minute the Huns were booted out they also increased kids tickets.

This is the attitude we seem to be getting from celtic staff

I took my sons long sleeve top back to the shop on sauchiehall st as the green has running in to the white after him wearing it once. The cheeky manager said have you ironed it which i stated no then he kept going on about ironing it and that they have not had any returns.

If anybody goes to the hoopy club with their kids its the wee guy that runs it with the grey hair cheeky bassa

Walking out the door i heard the young guy behind the cash desk say to another we have had loads of these returned :31: :31: :31:

I for one got my sons ticket without the oldco games at £50 & find it a disgrace the people that paid full amount are not getting a refund

Very poor by Celtic. They should have prepared for the Huns being removed from the SPL and had refunds ready if needs be.

Put my £30 voucher towards buying the away top, still costing me £20 so Celtic are still making money from me
