I understand your point and I am not really blaming the referee, but you must be a real * if you go down by such a light contact. Players like that ruin the game for me.

 

My best friend arsenal fan put it best for me when he termed it "Diet Obstruction."

In modern football if a team is trailing 1-0 with only minutes to go and one of their players gets so much as breathed on or looked at the wrong way in the box you know they are going to go down. Gary Hooper gave the referee a decision to make and the referee made it.

I'm not saying it's right, or that I like it, but that's how it is.

you just know if that was any other scottish side it would be “Plucky SPL side robbed by diving foreigners”; yet when its us its always “Udinese (Reserves) earn deserved draw”

they have no shame; these are the same * who were screeching when the czechs got their dodgy penalty and scotland didnt get their one due to the guy diving; no double standards of course….

 

Some of the comments on here are a joke and as per Samaras gets the blame. Yes he made a poor pass, when he had the chance to play a team-mate.

Well Bangura had the chance in the first half when he ran from the half-way line, but he took a poor touch and lost the ball. Gary Hooper took a few poor touches and lost the ball. Kayal made a couple of bad passes, James Forrest had a run down the wing and knocked it out the park.

If were going to pick faults why not do so with every single player, must be great to play like some people on here talk. No bad passes, no missed tackles, every shot on target, don`t know why you weren`t playing tonight.

I was pleased with how we played and competed tonight but some of the comments on here are pathetic.

Nothing to do with modern football. Italian sides have been looking for soft penalties since at least 25 May 1967.

Youve got those two - Lisbon and tonight, then the one Kaka had saved at CP with Milan, then I think Juventus had 1 against us too? and if I remember correct I think Milan also got one in the San Siro when we were beaten 3-1. They must average about 1 penalty every 1.5/2 games against us.

 

I was away in town during the game, but a draw where we scored must mean we did well, right?

 

we performed pretty well first half though udinese fought back second though their keeper made some brilliant saves; only a dodgy 88th min penalty gave udinese a point

all in all a far more encouraging performance

Just back in and I pretty pleased with the lads. Thought we should have won but we nver capatalised on our dominance when needed.

Zaluska (dropped for no reason) played very well tonight.

I just thought that we were too eager. Punting long balls, not holding the ball when we had it etc. But we played well.

Think we'll regret not getting the win though. need to beat Rennes twice imo.

overall, can't complain.
