anything bad that happens (flare, grafiti, bad words, agressive flag waving)- the GB

anything good (charity fundraising, wonderful atmosphere, inventive displays, lot's of colour etc) - the wonderful Celtic family.

This stole my thunder and is all that really need be said.

Flares and pyro as we all know are common place every game in some countries who are UEFA members, particularly Italy, Turkey, Greece, the Balkans and much of Eastern Europe as well as Germany on occasions, with this in mind how is one flare being let off in an away end even considered an offence?

I see this every Champioms League/Europa League midweek on the TV when watching the games so this charge is completely disproportionate and unless some clubs are receiving fines every single European game I fail to see how it is fair and justified in our case to want to make an example of us.

I heard about Galatasaray recently at Arsenal but in that case the game was stopped due to flares being hurled on the pitch.

I don't hear much other fines for flares but I stand corrected if that's not the case.

The Turkish clubs in that case may as well just pay up before the game starts.

People have different views on that and it would get into a debate that is far too long and complex and off topic for this thread.

In short, I personally think they shouldnt in the stadium, no.

    I figured as much.

But it is a good discussion. There is a difference between the class of fans and how they want there experience at the park. It's good that the Club wants to work with GB. It's for the best of both to keep a line of communication open.

Don't think the Croatian police force will give a * what Celtic have to say about them using batons.
