Had a rare laugh at this today, but seeing some so called Journo's trying to stoke it up a bit just makes me more thankful I dont but the pish rags anymore.

The amount of people that try and take our fantastic support down a peg or two is shocking and I'm not just talking about this case. This wouldn't be the first time folk tried to tarnish our supports name, wrong assumptions were made or the first time double standards were shown.

It's sad because having read the opinions of outsiders on Celtic, it's clear that there are muppets out there that buy into what the arseholes in the media have to say about us up here.

I expect Celtic to defend the banner because it's clearly not meant to be offensive.

If the Celtic support aren't defended when we are right, we might as well do what the * we want because it's only negative stories they are interested in anyway. There are some parts of our song book that have died down and even stopped completely for the sake of the club. This specific case is laughable and the club should at least defend us when we are in the right.

If Celtic don't come out and defend us properly, the story that goes around the world and especially up here, is that the Celtic support are fined for an 'IRA gunman banner'. People will jump to that assumption and wrongly so. I can safely say that because there isn't another support that would be questioned for that banner. Our support don't deserve to be tarnished like that, having been brilliant for the club. Having said this, I hope and expect Celtic will do the right thing.
