Losing 5-0 at home is embarrassing, no matter the gulf in class..

I thought Roberts and Sinclair wern't too bad considering they were so isolated. They had the bravery to take on their man on a number of occasions with some success.

Your an absolute parody of yourself, fair play for keeping it up.

That was very hard to take. Totally underestimated the gulf in class personally.

Should be remembered we were missing 2/3 of our main centre halves and Dembele though.

I thought PSG were mad for paying that money for Mbappe after one real season at the top level, but christ that boy is some player

Think this post is a fair summing up of the evening. There is a part of me however feels we should have booted a few more baws (namely Neymars) to prevent a 0-5 scoreline!

    I try hard.

Enjoying watching the team play under Rogers. A realist all the same. CL qualification each year is a bonus, if only for the cash, but with what others can spend, I fear its all we are going to get.

Battered from start to finish, I expected it though, thought all week they were going to beat us by a record score just by how dangerous they are up front. They are the most dangerous attacking team we've probably played in our history.

Biggest skelping i've seen us take as well just in terms of domination, last time I mind us chasing shadows like that at home was against Villarreal in the UEFA Cup in 2004 but we managed a draw then lol

    Few thoughts on the game:

    1) It was just a matter of time before the centre back situation came back to bite us. PSG took full advantage but 9 goals conceded in last 2 european games is unacceptable.

    2) From the 1st minute we showed them far to much respect. Was it the tactic to sit deep because that was what we did for the 1st 30 minutes. It was to easy for PSG to pass around us.

    3) Ntcham was bought specifically for Europe to make us a bit more compact in midfield whilst also being a ball player. Tonight he completely froze.

    4) The fans were brilliant. What a roar before the game and an absolute credit singing till the very end. They deserved so much more.

    5) Is there a better front 3 in world football right now. Mbappe, Cavani and Neymar were sublime and Veratti, wow what a player.

    6) Dembele was a huge loss for us. Would it have made a difference. Possibly, still would have been beaten though.

    7) Roberts, Sinclair and Griffiths would no doubt could be incredible against Anderlecht but against teams like PSG etc they are maybe a little bit to attacking. A more compact formation with other players may be worth a look.

That's me just back from the game and what can I say? Just not good enough, I'll talk more about it tommorow.

One thing I'll say now though is that I think tonight has showed us that when up against these kind of teams we have to play for a draw, 10 men behind the ball tactic. I hate having to say it but that's 2 utter drubbings we've had under Brendan now and I think that's what we now need to do to avoid these results in future.

Dembele can hold the ball up better than Griffiths that's a fact.. but he would have struggled big time tonight too, playing in total isolation..

Exactly why I'm not too disappointed mate.

We just can't compete with that kind of money.

Don't think it's worth bothering too much about a result against that PSG, but it is a little disappointing how poor some of the play was. In the first half too many players couldn't even make basic passes.

Obviously we were outclassed but thought 5 was a little harsh. Their centre midfield just ran overt he top of ours, Ntcham and Brown couldn't get near them. Ralston rattling Neymar cheered me up a bit. Guess that's how Scottish teams feel when they play us and get battered

I think a lot of us did mate.....certainly me anyway! Even talk of doing serious damage in the Europa is off the mark for me (if we qualify). Early days in Europe this season. Hope we go for it in Belgium.
