Who is it not mental to put up against Neymar? If Lustig is moving into CB then it should be another RB filling that gap.

Gamboa is fast but not a defender for me. If Neymar were to get the better of Ralston would that really mean anything? If on the other hand he plays well that would be something to build on

That's what I was saying, but I'd feel far more at ease knowing it was Gamboa..

Gamboa is a defender. I'm sure he's played the majority of his career at full back for club and country at major tournaments..

 

TBH, I think it's fair to say they are probably goin to score, particularly considering we have a makeshift defence. I also think it's fair to say that our current team don't appear to have the defending ability of starchans or Lennons teams where we could sit back and try to soak up pressure from opponents, I just don't think we are that solid at the mo.
Therefore, I dunno if BRs game plan will be just to attack and push our wingers high up in order to try and force theirs back. There's no point in us sitting back and trying to defend coz I don't think it would work. Our team isn't built for that. So, go for it! Yes, we will likely concede 1 or 2 but likely to score 1 or 2.
I can see tomorrow's game being a high scoring one, similar to the City game last year.

Would normally agree as I hate throwing youngsters into these sort of games but after watching Scotland u21s and Costa Rica last week I'd go with Ralston all day long. Ralston looked confident and assured against a pretty talented Dutch front line whereas Gamboa looked okay going forward early on but after the own goal his confidence looked shot and he was a mess defensively.
