I was honestly expecting to come on here today and hopefully see that the right decision will have been made but, as per usual, the SFA are fannying about trying to make a decision that won't upset the huns and their hoards. Can't have another riot can we

Of the 10 clubs in the premier league for the change, only one sits on the SPFL board I think and that's Hibs. Both Rangers and County sit on the board. Doncaster also has a vote, I think he would vote with the majority of the clubs as he always will. So you have at least 2 votes. No one has a clue about the lower league clubs though. It's basically 2 for and 2 against and whoever else is on the SPFL board decides the outcome.

One of the other board members is * Aidrieonians. So we know they're voting against it. Hamilton and Dunfemline, I mean surely they're voting for the change? * will miss out on a fortune and it's not like they have cash to burn. The other vote is forfar and again, I can't see why they would want to continue playing with restricted attendances.

Why is it becoming increasingly likely? Genuine question. Haven’t seen any indications either way other than10/12 clubs want it shifted.

This will be the acid test as to who really runs Scottish football.

The SPFL wrote to all clubs basically saying, you have zero chance of getting full capacity in 3 weeks. I read that like, we know you want to put it back to get fans in the grounds in 3 weeks time but that's not going to happen so we may as well just play the games now because nothing will change in 3 weeks time.

4 members of the SPFL board represent lower league teams. So, Hamilton, Dunfermline, Forfar and Aidrieonians. So, they have a decision on whether or not we bring our Winter Break forward, even though they don't get one themselves. It's pure weird man.

I'm maybe being a glass half empty kind of guy with that way of thinking. It's just how I viewed the letter the SPFL sent out to clubs.

I'm surprised the huns aren't calling for the league to be called early. I wouldn't put it past them

    People with the vote are
    SPFL
    Neil Doncaster (Chief Executive)
    Murdo McClennan (Chairman)
    Karyn McCluskey (Independent Non Executive)

    Premiership
    Ron Gordon (Hibernian)
    James McDonald (Ross County)
    Stewart Robertson (Rangers)

    Championship
    Les Gray (Hamilton)
    Ross McArthur (Dunfermline)

    League One & Two
    Alistair Donald (Forfar)

You would think the SPFL board members would vote with the majority of the clubs. We also know that Hibernian will vote for the change. So, that should be 4 votes. Only need one more to get it passed but I worry about lower league clubs. Hamilton/Dunfermline won't care about Premiership clubs losing money and I can't see Forfar giving a * either.

To be honest, I find it absolutely mental that clubs who aren't affected by this get a vote. Especially clubs like Hamilton and Dunfermline who would love to see teams like Livingston/Dundee/Ross County losing some cash so that if they get promoted, they have a more level playing field. It's absolute lunacy. The Premiership clubs should be voting for or against. They should be deciding, no one else.

Why are Ross County against stopping early? They will have 2 home games behind closed doors
