    I was in the Algarve in May, seen lots of sports shops, all had Celtic shirts but not a Rangers top in sight. My Rangers supporting mate who was with me joked they didnt have the Rangers top as JJB held the rights lol.

    We were in a bar one night and a guy from Barca (an Espanyol fan) came and spoke to me and said he loved Celtic and hated Rangers. He couldn't tell me why but he just said he loves when we visit the city to play and dreads it if Rangers are there, then he bought me a drink

    I've converted a lot of my mates in the NW England to the hoops, some even buy Celtic tops even though their first team is Liverpool or Man United, I love it when they start slagging off R*ngers :50:

    Scotland is the only country where we are outnumbered. We outnumber them everywhere else and worldwide theres probably 7 or 8 tims to 1 hun. Would be interestig to see hom many more tops we sell than them.

    Rangers are no bigger a Club than Newcastle, Arsenal or Everton imo big local fanbase but very little outside that.

    It's a shame not the rest of the deluded english fans see us the same way.

    Good to know that's how you see it, and you see it correctly, we are bigger and better than Rangers.....We're popular throughout the world.

    Sydney FC V AEK Athens crowd: 15,000
    Sydney FC V Blackburn crowd: 14,000
    Sydney FC V Rangers crowd: 9,500

    Sums it up perfectly! The huns attracted less fans than Blackburn and AEK Athens when they went to Australia. We attracted alost the same as all three put together :celt_2:

    It's mostly because of the charitable cause of the club, and the Irish connection that gives us many fans. Also, people see Celtic Park on European nights, and Old Firm games, see the atmosphere and think "Wow". Can't believe there are some idiots that think Liverpool are bigger than us, absolute rubbish, there's only one team that's bigger than us, and that is United. It wouldn't even be them if it wasn't for their glory.


    True mate! It's the exact same with me, I've converted most of my pals to support us, and they hate R*ngers! The North West loves Celtic! There's about 12 CSC's compared to the huns 2/3!!

    I think Rangers have more support in England due to the Poopy banner and other things but most would agree we are bigger than the Huns.

    I live in Kent, and in my town I know more Rangers fans than Celtic fans. There's a Northern Irish teacher in our school who supports Rangers, and another Scottish guy that supports Celtic. Then there's my family who all support Celtic, and down the road about 5 houses to the left of ours there's a house full of Rangers fans. They're alright Rangers fans though, one of them works for a boiler company and fixed up our boiler. Also I know another guy my age who supports Rangers, and his family do to.

    I lived in Plymouth for a few years '97-2001. Went to the Whitleigh Community Centre for a pint and there was a *' Orange Lodge meeting being held there! Funny thing was there were loads of Tims used the place. :rolleyes:
