I love Robson's attitude and commitment. . .not for one minute am I slating the guy, but I dont think he has much ability.

I would think Willo Flood would be in my team before Robson.

Definately not. Dont think he is any improvement than mcgeady, naka and maloney. We need better players to progress further in europe. Hes too light, not to mention he looks like a wee rat lolol :56:

You hit the nail on the bud there mate. Spl player is right however we've signed enough of these players over the past few years, caldwell, hartley, robson, riordan etc. we need to bring in more quality that will make us progress further in europe. flood will never hold down a regular place at celtic park, he reminds me abit like paul caddis

    It's not a rough patch.

No entertainment and pish football 80% of the time is the reason the fans aren't turning up.

It happens at most, if not all clubs.

Wouldnt touch flood with a bargepole. Leave him were he is, hes no better than a dundee united player fs. He couldnt manage it at man city, or even cardiff for that matter. Celtic should be looking to bring in better players than him

    We don't because we can't.

We need to keep dominating the league and then build from that platform, the best way to do that is sign up players that will win the SPL whilst nurturing young talent at the same time which will hopefully come good further down the line. We don't have the funds to go out and buy finished articles anymore.

Stupid comments from Flood after the game "CELTIC ARE DISRESPECTING UNITED"

that might be enough to scupper his move to the Hoops ?

Mate im sick of people saying we dont have funds. Yea we are in abit of debt and the club is doing well dealing with that debt however lets be realistic clubs will have to go into debt if they want to compete at the highest level. I understand bigger spending does mean bigger wages etc but by bringing it bigger names means bigger merchandising etc. Just look at most of the bigger clubs in europe.

The amounts that we are dealing at presently is scandalus. Nothing more than 400k. Buttons money that teams in coca cola league 2 can fork out for players. We are supposed to be a big club, i think its about time we act like it fs. People say recession is a big player is the lower attendances at celtic park, i say its a mixture of that and the terrible football we are playing at present. People are just fed up with the board not delivering.

Possibly, dont see how he was distracted by the media interest in his move to Celtic either, he was one of their best players, didnt seem effected to me :56: just an excuse for him missing his 2nd penalty.
