EEEEKKKK please no more squad players

 

i think we are now in a position to buy players to threaten the first XI (...well except left back). imo i do not see Flood threatening, he would be a squad filler and we have enough of those.

 

Not a bad player done well for Dundee utd when i have seen him play.

 

He seems right enough. A bit light-weight? Don't see what he offers that we don't already have in our first team and even on the bench.

 

I know its only 60 grand but there is a reason for that. Does it not say everything that Cardiff want him off the wage bill because he's not good enough. So this is the type of signing thats going to arrive someone that can't even get a game in the championship in england. Not everything cheap is a bargain, this wolud still be a total waste of £60k. The guys 23 its not even as if he's a real youngster. Fat, slow with no skill so no thank you.

 

Are we talking about the same guy? I would hardly say Willo is FAT, More skin and bone than fat, also from what ive seen was running rings round our players last 2 games weve played Dundee Utd and always has great games against The Scum.

aww a dont know why anyone could be negative about this deal he is a celtic fan which as has been said would try his heart out every game. He hates the huns, and always has good games against them , he has a bit of steal in his play that we dont have many players at the club with that asset. Hes fairly fast and has a good engine. He is a fairly tidy player on the ball and has been key in dundee utd playing well over last 2 seasons, 4 60k would be a very good piece of business, although if this happened hopefully some one takes donatti

 

Absolute waste of 60k plus his wages. Were going to have Maloney, McGeady, Mizuno, McGinn,McCourt, Nakamura,Robson. McGowan.

He's just going to rot in the reserves, He'd be lucky to get a game in the reserves.
Even if he only gets 6k a week its nearly 400k we'll spend on him this year. This money could easily be used elsewhere.

 

There's only Brown, Crosas, Robson and Hartley really competing for CM places. I think Flood would be useful if Brown needed a rest or picked up an injury.

 

Im a Celtic fan and would try my heart out everygame but in the end I'm * at football and don't deserve a game for celtic. What is the point in commenting on the fact he's a celtic fan. Strachan always goes on about only signing players that will improve the team, this wont even improve the reserves.

I've yet to see him play as a winger. The 6 or 7 live Dundee Utd games I've watched he's always player CM in either a 2, 3 or diamond shape. Gomis has played wide. This season he's taken over from Mark Kerr with Scott Robertson playing ahead of him.

litte worried if we sign him its the end of Scott Brown with all the transfer talk going on about him just now. Good we player Flood and would be a good squad addition but should not been seen as a Brown replacement.

 

This is why we should leave him at Dundee Utd. If we sign all the players that give their all against our closest and most bitter rivals, we risk the chance of other teams not taking points off them. Leave them at their respective clubs; unless they are fantastic and will threaten our 1st teamers. I'd much rather teams were stronger against rankers than us taking away decent talent from 1st team football.
