    Not sure that Flood will make that much of an impact at Celtic. He has done well for Dundee United but I don't see him as being as influential or having the impact Robson did when he came last season. But I would think given he is already well established in the spl with 70 games for Dundee United under his belt he represents a very good gamble at only 60,000. Certainly he should provide very legit depth off the bench and cover for the rest of this season. At 23 too he may well flourish and develop like McDonald did when he came here. So there is a lot of upside to this signing and really almost no down side.

    Spot on m8 i think his tenacity is his biggest asset, and working with a top coach like strachan his technical ability will improve ten fold. Good signing.

    Also, people are moaning at the money he cost but did i not read somewhere he only has 6 months left on his contract at Cardiff? If that's the case then obviously we would get him at a cut price. If he was on a four year he'd be worth a couple of million i reckon.

    no judgement on the lad though until he dons the Hoops. it will be interesting to see what WGS does with Flood tomorrow.

    Flood is now a Celtic player.
    It's been announced on the OS and he may be in the squad for tomorrow's game.
    He's a big Celtic fan and I think it's a good move for him and Celtic.
