    Anybody else see Unirea Urziceni is in the same pool with us in the CL? Hopefully they advance and give the Huns some trouble in the group stage, lol.

    Hate to sound negative, but every * year the uphill climb to the CL gets steeper. We've gone from getting in, to hoping we get in, to hoping we get to the final round of qualifying. Makes you sick to think of Gers strolling in, * as they are. We'll take the league back next year, just in time for the SPL title holders to no longer claim an automatic CL place.

    Hope springs eternal tho! Lol The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. There's a fair dose of insanity in every Celt, so bring on the qualifiers. Tired of caring who we draw, no matter how you slice it, we'll need the rub of the green to advance.

    Agree mate, next year is such a important season for us, we must win the league next year. We have carried no luck in the draw in recent years, we must be due a decent draw for a change! We need quality players to qualify this season

    To be honest, none of the teams in the 1st qualifier particularly scare me.

    If we want to play CL football, we have to be able to take out teams like that.

    Yeah i agree ,i would like to think that these teams are saying ,"ffs Celtic ,hope we dont get them " Celtic park was a fortress and teams feared coming here ,its about time we got that place back to the way it was ,the team just might respond to it, like before.

    With the right players and a bit of belief from the team, we'll be more than capable of beating any of them. However, it would be a lot easier if Fenerbache had won the Turkish league cause we'd have been in the seeded pot for the draw!

    I agree - no point greeting and moaning about who we need to play to get to the Champions League. We've brought this situation upon ourselves, they are all teams who a couple of years ago would have thought nothing of beating.

    If you look at teams we have beaten in the past nobody in the first or second round should scare us and I would say most teams would like to avoid us including Tottenham and Sampdoria.
