In my quest to learn more about the history and the DNA of the club, I recently started reading We are Celtic Supporters, so far so good. Just curious if anyone else has read it or if there are any other good Celtic-centric book recommendations. I enjoy football books, and am halfway done with The Ball is Round, which does cover the Old Firm, but I'm looking for more specifically Celtic-themed works. Thanks!

The Celtic Minded books are excellent reads.
Some academic content amongst it but in terms of an understanding of all that it is to ‘be Celtic’ it covers it all. The historical, social, cultural, political, religious and every aspect in between about the club and its fans is addressed.
A lot of ignorant ‘neutrals’ in Scotland could learn a lot from them. Even your everyday Celtic fan may learn something new
(Shameless plug for my old uni lecturer, Dr Joe Bradley, who edits the series)

Just as an update, I finished “We are Celtic Supporters” and it was a good read, it highlighted a lot of perespectives and how so many different people develop emotional attachments to the club. I especially liked the chapter detailing Simple Mind’s singer Jim Kerr and his love for the club. Going to read one of the other recommendations.

One of my favourites. Was actually lucky enough to get a signed copy as well.
