The closest place you will get to the City Centre which is partly a Celtic area would be Royston.

Its like every part of Glasgow people that don't stay there say stay the * away, the people that stay there say its not as bad as made out.

I stay in Posso & love were i live (meant to be the worst place in Glasgow)

Paisley is ok, can be rough in places but not as bad as made out. I would say the makeup of Paisley football wise is about 40% Celtic, 30% Sevco and 30% St Mirren but that is by no means a fact just my general feeling of the place.

Also about 10 mins on a train from Gilmour Street to City Centre.

As mentioned by the poster above, Dennistoun is a good shout. I've lived here all my life, it's very close to all amenities and most importantly close to Celtic Park :50:

The north and east of the city are more Celtic but there are some exceptions like Bridgeton

Bridgeton. It's close to Celtic Park, but don't go there.

I stay in Parkhead so close to the stadium as a can get and about 15 mins on a bus to the city centre I would say its 50/50 here as we have celtic park but they have an orange halls but there is no real trouble and not as bad as its made out to be but there is the odd junkie being an annoying *

Most areas are pretty mixed, and it probably isn't that much of an issue who you support unless you flaunt it. Even Ibrox/Govan area, which a lot of people assume is full of huns cos of their ground, has loads of tims. Govanhill has traditionally had good links with Donegal and still has a few good Celtic/Irish pubs, but is perhaps more of an Asian ghetto these days and has housing problems. Dennistoun is ok but is meant to lean slightly to the huns. West end full of middle class tossers and students so not a football stronghold, nice pubs/restaurants/amenities though and if you're renting the cost isn't that bad.
