This should then be a reason for ordinary fans to own the shares, rather than Desmond so that if we do make a profit in the future, people who have been putting their hard earned money into the club by buying tickets, shirts etc. can get some sort of return, as it sure isn't happening on the pitch.

If PLC rules state one man cannot pump in money, then how do we go about investing money? Can we not issue more shares or something, as something needs to be done I think. We havn't been in Europe in years.

 

Correct mate, the board failed to invest when Rangers were on their knees three years ago, we bought Willo Flood instead for £50K and Rangers went on to win three SPL titles in a row.

Desmond is a Billionnaire, he surely has money to spend. I'm not comparing him to Abrabovic, but surely £20 Million isn't too much for some Billionnaire that claims to love Celtic.

Dermot Desmond CANNOT just come up with another few million out of his own pocket for Celtic to spend on transfers.

The sooner the fans who claim to love Celtic, faithful thru n thru etc learned what this means and the rules of operating as such mean, the better.

I think Desmond owns something like 49% of the shares so he doesn't have total control over the club.

 

If it's true he picked up the majority of Robbie Keane's wage I'm assuming he could do that again with other players if he wanted.
