How often are you wearing the shirts that the sponsors are already peeling off?

Someone posted a couple of days ago about the bottom part of the sleeves on the away top always turning up, has this been problem a for everyone ?

It's a minor thing but the fact I can see the stitching on the sleeve when it happens annoys me, just doesn't look right :smiley-laughing002:

you can wash them ob 40 ° no drx tumbling.they should surviive that in one piece. theres a difference between the quality of the magners logo on nike and NB. a huge difference.but for 50 quid they should last some yrs no matter how often you wash them.or you should do the sponsoring differently i.e. the first carling one / umbro 2003. it lasts for ever.its kinda felt/foam..no idea how ti describe.

as for quality i think the umbro shirts are best. got some celtic/ireland ones and they seem to last forever.

There was a few crap umbro shirts quality wise but mines held up pretty well. For the most part umbro were the best

Get the sponsorless ones. You avoid that issue with the wash and I think it looks classier too :50:

Sponsorless is too plain , the sponsor doesn't look too bad on the jersey when it's actually on the jersey.

Hate sponsor on the jersey. Always buy the sponsorless ones. * that free advertising. If they want me to advertise Magners, give me a free shirt.

I agree with both of you.

I really want this years away shirt, * forking out so much money for it though. £40 is enough of a rip off for a shirt imo, I don't get how one top can cost more than that. I don't buy fashionable t-shirts for £25+ Ffs

sponsorless ones just look like training tops or even snides from thailand . Far too plain , the shirts are designed with the sponsor in mind . The badge and kitmaker logo look far too small and too high up once you take the sponsor away .

The trackies are absolutely shocking. NB don't have a clue. Literally look like something you'd buy off the sale rack in Sports Direct for a fiver. Big baggy cotton joggies and zip up fleeces. You can't play football in them.

Training gear last year was so much better. You saw all the players train in those tight joggies no matter the weather last year. They are class to play football in. You don't want a big piece of trackie flinging about you're feet when you're trying to kick a ball.

See I think Nike do general training gear right, but their kits are rank rotten and terribly made. New Balance have it the other way around!
