    Thank * for that.

New away top is a belter and for the fans will look good with jeans ( always a key indicator ).

Some of the NB merch is starting to appear on the webside, pretty smart looking stuff but £24 for a 'training' t-shirt is a bit on the steep side.

Just out the Argyll st store & they had them.

Went in to by my son the new home top & 3 of the ones i picked up had imperfections were the green meets the white v on the neck (white stitching over lapping the green)

Been complaints about every manufacturer we've had in the last 35 years to be fair.

"They just don't make things like they used to".

They have been getting more expensive every year so I think its quite justified to want the high price to = high quality.

Isn't that the way consumer society is headed though?

High prices, foreign made, junk quality?

I agree with you, man. These multi-national trade pacts are to blame though.

Amusingly when it comes to New Balance (and their trainers at least) their reasoning behind their higher prices is because they don't compromise on quality and produce their stuff in the US and in the UK.

Are the complaints of quality just for sizing?

Inflation is infinite while quality is finite , so at some point the higher prices aren't going to equate to higher quality . The quality will/has stayed the same.

Are there any companies making British/Irish/Western European made repro kits anymore? Like the old 60s,70s, 80s tops etc?

Retroshirthaven. They're bringing out the original umbro Jersey that this years away is based on.
