After looking over it I think naismith would be a ok signing for good back-up:

If miller and Zurawski go we will have a striker force of, Jvoh, Mcdonald and killen which does leave space for another back-up striker and naismith is someone who can fill that spot and he can also cover on the left wing if Mcgeady and Riordan are out.

If Cillian Sheridan was not at Celtic but any other SPL club, he would be playing and scoring more regularly than Naismith. Naismith only looks good cos he plays for a really bad team. The best of a bad bunch.....but Sheridan looks good and certainly I'd rather have Sheridan as BACKUP and as the RISING STAR striker than Naismith. At least he wants to play for us....Naismith is a hun...i am not sure if signing him would be all that good.

I agree with you on Cillian Sheridan, watched him play several times for the reserves now and he's a consistent goalscorer. I would expect to see him get more chances in the 1st team this coming season unless Celtic decide to punt him out on loan.

Yes, but look at Finnobogason, he scored loads of goals for the reserves and u19's. Look at where he is, nowhere
