Not a moan but I think it would still be worth asking what the plans are for the large amount of cash at the club?
Something articulated like the below.
I appreciate a substantial amount was spent on incoming transfers in the summer, including large individual fees for two players but we still sold players for more than we spent during that period. Given our CL performance this year has already overtaken what we made in performance last year guaranteed and ticket sales will be higher due to the extra game guaranteed, what areas of the football club do the board and management see our surplus cash being invested to further improve our performance on and off the park?Blochairnbhoy likes this. -
Which will still happen anyway. -

And update about Tisdale is a must
Is he a direct replacement for Lawwell or should we expect a new head of recruitment as wellBlochairnbhoy likes this. -
Just because on the pitch going well short term, doesn't mean the fundamental and structural issues have suddenly changed.
Take a look back at posts here only a couple of months ago, what has structurally shifted?
We have to keep the pressure on the boards lack of sporting ambition and still hoarding cash, not investing in future to consistently secure UCL cash whilst being competitive with clubs at or even above our level.
Lack of cohesive sporting infrastructure and strategy remains an issue.
If we had lost our last 3 or 4 games, we'd be going mental about all of this - let's keep holding the blazers to account regardless of winning a few games.Last edited: Nov 21, 2024 at 9:00 AMmayo likes this.
