This league is the biggest thing holding us back from reaching our potential, not only that but other countries governments help their leagues much more eg relaxing work permit laws for teams, tax help to make the same wage for players worth more etc no chance celtic would get help. We're hated here, the league is * other than us and you only have to glance at msm for a second to see it.

I think we should start throwing millions at our problems. Not joking, either. It's the only real way to succeed in modern football. So * of we get into some debt? Almost every single club performing in any European competition this season has debt. We're not going to end up like the huns by sometimes having the ambition to spend serious money.

Did I state they would triple? I said increase and bring a little attraction to the League.

I don't need to be educated on the BPL's Commercial income.

Scotlands population has no merit on supporting Celtic or any other SPFL club, you do know there are Celtic supporters throughout the world... Right?

I love the isolation argument of the Scottish population :smiley-laughing002:

In fact you're right im being delusional I should start consentrating my support on Lawwell and the Board from now on - constantly laugh at the Huns and use there mismangment to apply to ours (An irrational emphasise) believe that if we sell a few players and recieve that money we can't spend that money at our disposal (Defeating physics) and blame the SPFL, TV deals that we TAKE and do not engage in another alternative.

It seems to me people are out to blame everyone except whats at Celtic Park while laughing at the Huns, but aye im delusional.

    * Bless Lawwell.

Dinamo zagreb have won 11 in a row without competition and still reach the Champions League with a lower turnover and less TV money..

But aye, our league is holding us back.:50:

Mon lads, lets deny reality! :smiley-laughing002:

So basically we run at a small loss and cover it with the bank facility until we get CL football which would give us a hefty profit to carry on to the next year. We really need CL football not just for the fans but to improve in the squad as well.

    Its imperative.
£20m for Group Stage particpation, and represented in over 80 TV Channels throughout the World. Its crucial and not getting into that stage is a failure.

See that's why they are cheap due to the view , the restricted view seats are the new 'premium' seats now :smiley-laughing002:

He actually bought shares in the process, Deila never. Technically you're right in the narrative he got elected, hes done a great job taking a cool £8.6m while people award failure.

It reminds me of the No campaign, isn't ironic the Board are Tories and people are obediant to them?

What has a employee buying shares got to do with the running of a company, unless of course he bought 51%.

The CEO makes the major decisions in the day to day running of the business, it is simply not feasible to have shareholders meetings everytime a decision is to be made. Therefore the buck stops as Lawells door.

He sets the budget with approval from shareholders, he goes out and gets the players, decides what to spend, how much in wages.

He with approval from shareholders hires managers, chief scouts, backroom staff.

A lot of blame lies at management and the players, but Lawell is also responsible for the downsizing of our football club since Strachan.

According to official sources on google (i know...) globally the average ceo is on a salary of $13.8m per annum (£9.15m). As far as i can remember he was offered double that to join arsenal, and said no. He's up for ceo of the year, yet is solidly loyal to the club.

I seriously think some people are like kids throwing tantrums because they don't get to eat the whole bag of sweets. He's far from perfect, but to suggest he's just milking the club is seriously blinkered at best...

Edit: sorry, to clarify, i meant double his current salary to join arsenal, not £18m...
