    Great performance so far. Much, much better attacking play from us in this one.

    Only player who still looks slightly off it is O'Riley. He's been good defensively, but what the * has happened to his passing? Just unnecessarily loose with it.

    Two excellent goals. The second was genuinely world class. Unbelievable pass and finish.

    New boy Yuki been very assured.

    AJ is super impressive at rb, absolute quality so far.

    Abada although got a wee bit sloppy near end has been really good, actually looking a proper winger.

    THis refereeing is getting on my * *. It’s not just the big decisions it’s the fouls not given, no VAr checks for what looked like stonewall decisions and taking an age to award our goals as if they are pouring over every frame to check how they can chop it off.

    It’s not just up to Ange, the board need to * say something.

    So far, where we want to be. Strolling it by the end of the half. St Mirren did put a few scares in, and did have the ball in the net and Hart did have to make a quality save, but once the defence settled and Ange made the tweak to Johnson's positioning, it's been well in control.

    As for the defence, JJ has been quiet, so while not getting forward, no worries on the left defensively, Starfelt being on the right and Kobayashi has settled in after a bit, but it did take a bit of time to settle, and AJ was caught a few times early on, but Packy Bonner on BBC mentioned that Ange did tweak his positioning and ever since been in total contol. What we want.
