Good points from tonight's game- I thought that Scales was very reliable, Uroghide played decent (added some much needed height to our defence) and Welsh had another good solid performance. Bad points - Abada and Montgomery were woeful, McCarthy disappointing again and Bain should not be our 2nd choice keeper. However, the biggest disappointment for me was seeing Kyogo going off injured in a game he should have been nowhere near. I just pray it's not as bad as it looked

Thought that was a fantastically enjoyable game given the wholesale changes. Injuries aside.

Away goals rule doesn't exist anymore so it was joint head to head

I never caught the game on Sunday and have had a pretty awful week and haven't been on here much. Didn't even realise it was Thursday today tbh it's been that crazy.

A wins a win but Ffs a bit deflated after that for obvious reasons. Now going into the next hectic few weeks with our 3 main attackers out. Absolute mental decision from Ange and he will be kicking himself now. We need to be taking 1 game at a time but it’s extremely hard not to be thinking of Jan the 2nd.

From Jota Kyogo Forrest to who? Henderson Abada Johnstone or something. Gonna have to change formation I think and somehow try and fit McGregor, McCarthy, Rogic, Turnbull, Abada and Johnstone in.

Enjoyable game and result but the kyogo injury is a massive downer, should never have been risked considering how massive the next few weeks are.

Sad for the injury but seems Ange had no choice. Ajeti got injured and there was no one else who can play up front. Every game in Europe has value, especially against a La Liga side. If you look across the Europa results most teams, even those who had already made it through or were knocked out fielded first team players. You obviously dont count on your player getting injured, but sometimes it happens. Its just bad luck.

Unbelievable we missed that chance at the end. 3 vs 1 and it was their goalkeeper.

I didn't think Abada was that bad to be honest mate. His fresh air swipe was incredible, coming so soon after those wee boys ran they Stewards a merry dance. Montgomery was dreadful though. Really really poor. He doesn't hide and offers himself for the ball but by christ he was rotten with it

The flipside is if Celtic won and Kyogo didnt get injured everyone no one would question playing him. But if he didnt field Kyogo and Celtic went on to lose the game everyone would be upset that Ange didnt take the game seriously enough.

Celtic rarely play against teams the quality or Real Betis so its important to take these games seriously, because it victory can give the team confidence and it serves as good preparation for when Celtic meet higher quality opponents in the future, like Rangers.

Wouldn't say the Huns are much higher quality than the likes of Hibs , diet huns or the sheep tbh
