    i forgot about the game... just checked livescore.. and shock horror... pumped in pre-season off another * team... fills me with great confidence... these games can seriously hamper out or moral.. especially the younger lads.... 12 goals is a joke to concede..

    It was exactly the same last pre season, utter gash early on, everyone getting oot their pram, then we upped it for the CL qualifiers and drew with Inter and showed up well against Madrid in our last friendlies.

    I wish we were a bit further forward in our preperation but as long as we get through the C/ville tie then this will all be forgotten about.

    I seriously hope that Lenny sorts the squad out and make them turn up for the Cliftonville match, because in all of the preseason matches we have shown very little, and all the teams we have faced we are well capable of beating in a competitive match. I know friendlies are there mainly to recover fitness and the results don't matter in the long run but if the team can't motivate themselves to put in a half-decent performance in a friendly there is a problem.

    Clinftonville are an * side of Celtic-supporting plumbers who play in possibly the only league in Europe worse than the SPL.
    We could quite easily play our youth side and beat them.

    There is literally no correlation whatsoever between Pre-season results and real-life results. None at all.

    I would say Balde is about as good as that N'Goo guy for hearts last year. Just looks a bit clumsy. I've made my opinion on him already. He'll be decent enough for the SPL. He's just not going to take us to a higher level.
