Celtic 2-2 Inverness Post Match Thread

The start of the season looked promising but its become apparent recently that we're not capable of winning the title this year. We spent a fair bit in the summer but we bought quantity and not quality.

 

Right, I have took a few paracetomol's and I am ready to give my * rant.

We now have to accept Rangers are a much better team than us, they know how to defend and have a very good manager.

Our defenders are incapable of defending, I am so * * off I feel like doing someting dramatic.

Lennon is too * inexperienced and it's showing, 2 * points from 2 cunting home games against lets be honest, * teams who wouldn't even challenge for promotion in the english league 1.

Time to accept that Rangers are too superior for us with Walter Smith, untill he retires were always going to be underdogs.

You can pick faults with players and the manager and the SFA but the bottom line is we can't defend a lead, Rangers will win tomorrow to make it even worse no doubt about that.

 

I'm hoping the huns * up majorly tomorrow but won't be holding out, this hands them the initiative big time, it's not about who is hungrier IMO, if we keep making this mistakes it makes it easy for them, we're handing it to them on a silver platter.

 

in jan buy 2 new c.b and a striker if not another year to the monkey *

 

this has last season written all over it.i just cant see where its going to change.we need about 10 million on 2 cb and the fact that we need a new keeper in january is a * farce.once again an absolutely * huns team dont need to try.

 

Total * and we have been for way too long now.
Even when winning games this season I have never believed that this is a title winning team.
We lack the fighting spirit and organisation the other lot have,the defense is still rank rotten.
This will only drive the other lot on tomorrow and 5 points behind before the New Year will be hard to peg back.
Who do we blame? well it's easy to point the finger at Lennon but he is learning his trade,should he be learning it at Celtic? in my opinion no.
I think this shows in his team selections,formations and substitutions.We have some decent players but are not getting the best out of them.
Hopefully he can learn quickly enough to turn this season around.

were no goni win the league this year if we play the way we have the past 4 games or so were absoloutely * under pressure feel sick man, januray old firm and transfer window are so crucial now keep the faith, been hearing that for the last 3 years now

 

lennon sitting there, glazed eyes, staring at the pitch, clueless how to change it, sorry lads but once again he was the cheap option asnd is failing big time

how long have celtic fans been saying that about the defence

* attrocious the backline hasn't been sorted yet

i've got to say also, lennon * about with the starting line up all the time is doing my nut in and doing nothing for consistency

why cant we press high up the field especially against the likes of inverness at celtic park

our centre halfs 2 out of the 3 of mastorivic, rogne and hooiveld should be decent enough to sit on the half way line with a defensive midfielder (one thats tenacious and prepared to put the foot in)

and we should be dominating them all over the park, we have much better players but there not showing it

we badly need a neil lennon/paul lambert on the park

the amount of times mastorivic spends in the left back zone is worrying

and we should'nt have both full backs attacking at the same time as thats askiing for trouble

Totally gutless performance. We have put ourselves in this position with uninspiring and tactically flawed performances. Those inbred * across the City are laughing at us and the mess we've got ourselves in, we have failed the past three seasons to invest money in the team and until we address this and buy quality players we are just going to continually hand the title to the huns.

defense bad, but why is it that all teams can get to with in 25 yard out, and play a ball in to the box, that same move cant be managed by our self, its happening all the time, who are not picking up, and allowing this sort of move in every game its the same, our defense are moving out why the * what for, to beat the offside for * sake, then we are wrong side of goal * joke why are we given strikers presents out there no need for our defense to come out of the 18yd box to me there are no * hitting these wing back type of guys at all but every team is nailing ours before we reach the 25 yd box

Lennon needs to sort this quickly, he doesnt have a clue what formation best suits us, our centre mids dont defend the CBs well enough , our full backs push to far up the park and are constantly caught out of position when we get countered ( Izzy was big miss ) we are lacking confidence, our CBs dont trust eachother and need to cut out the idiotic mistakes.
Murphy is balls, Cha's delivery is woeful, ledley doesnt get involved enough imo dont care what anyone says opposition players just run past him.
Weve been so * obsessed with refs and the SFA of late i feel weve taken our eye of the ball so nows the time shutup and focus on the team because we have alot of problems that need to be fixed.

Hooper and mc court were the only players who got pass marks today.
The sooner brown kayal and forrest get back the better.

We havent got the heart or tactical nous to see out games end off !! Hooiveld goes off so why not bring on wilson and move mulgrew 1 in that way the formation you,ve practised all week is still intact * joke lenny waken up !! p.s * is the story with jaurez its pretty clear somethings happened !!
