i think we need brown and kayals energy in the middle of the park if we are gona play paddy and mcginn at left and right mid thought they were both excellent. is wasnt the best of games but it was agood win we basically played aberdeen yesterday with 9 men as paddy and mcginn were pish. id much rather have mulgrew, juarez or ledley at left or right mid than keep playing with 2 wingers. i think our problems are self inflicted with the way we set our teams up. i listened to lenny after the game and he comented about the atmosphere at celtic park late on in games when we are only leading 1- nil. i thought he was spot on. i think alot of our supporters are needing to get a grip and get behind the team instead of all the negative shouts we are only hurting our team with the way our so called fans are acting.

Agree with all of the above didn't think Kayal or Izzy were that poor.

Especially Wilson comment I think it is not a coincidence that bar the offside goal at Hamilton. We have not conceeded since he has been playing.
A defender is playing to defend first and if they can attack very good but I think he provides cover when Izzy goes forward almost keeping a back three.
And he put some good deliveries into the box of of set pieces.

we should have had a penalty for a blatant hand ball in the box,it could have been a more comfortable win yet another big decision going against us, but we won so it wasnt highlighted * the sfa

Looked like Brines was going to give the free-kick , he didn't allow the quick one to be taken and looked like he was going to have it retaken but then he got word from the linesman that it wasn't a foul from the passback as Kayal had touched the ball before it reached the keeper..

    Good enough result and warranted.
Does anyone think that Lenny should have anticipated that, with the game still within reach in the last 15 min, that Aberdeen would push out and try to steal a point? Maybe could've pulled Stokes and gone for 4-5-1. I know that there's no way we should be playing counter-attacking football at home against Aberdeen but when you know they're going to be pushing why not look to shore things up and catch them on the break to pad our goal difference. Plus, thought bringing off Kayal and leaving Brown out there was a shocking call. 15 min left I'd have brought on Ledley for Stokes, pushed Brown forward (even though he was kinda *) in a three-man diamond midfield and brought on Ljunberg for Paddy (that was the right call as McGinn's pace is still dangerous).
Anyway, not complaining, just my thoughts.
