Why was it paddy was poor today?? We love paddy because of the magic he can create but ffs he is human it wont always come off. Everytime he got the ball and started a run i got excited that he could pull a wonder goal but he was being marked tightly for most of the game by 2 if not 3 players. To say he was poor and needs dropped is stupid imo. Also it was a scrappy game but wins like this are wins which define where the league trophy ends up.

btw does anyone else think that Hooper and Stokes might have alittle bet between themselves to see who finishes top scorer?

 

Because he was greedy, didn't change his game to suit what was happening to him. Needed to start realising the ball earlier or at least whipping a cross in.

Didn't adapt to it and just kept trying to run threw the bodies.

I think he may need rested, starting to look really tired at the end of matches.

Days like this are league winners btw. It's a happy day in Timland.

Yeah but thats paddy, his goals come from him being greedy.

 

Mcginn is garbage imo..

 

His goals are just sheer ability and confidence. He needs to learn to be less selfish, take a look at Messi for an example.

It's about the team, not Paddy even though I love him.

 

Whenever Paddy gets the ball I just will him to run with it. I say 'Go on Paddy! Goan Yersel!'

I'm the same to be honest but he needs to learn when it's not coming off mix it up a little.

 

Its no doubt about the sheer ability and confidence but their is also an element of greediness. Take his wonder goal against St.Mirren away last season, he probably had better options available but we were treated to a great goal because he wanted to do it all himself, like most of his goals.

Kayal MOTM again, didn't realise he had picked up a knock though, hope he'll be okay, one player we can't afford to lose at the moment. Thought Brown was pretty poor today, Paddy too... Possibly benched for Wednesday with Ljungberg starting? I don't know. Just think he's not been as effective in the last couple of games.

 

My stream was crap today ..How did Freddie do when he came on ?? ..I thought the last 2 away games the pitch didnt suit his style it seemed narrow , was hoping for a better performance today on a bigger pitch

 

He was only on for about 5 minutes but did pretty well, looked up for it got stuck in, put it on a plate for McGinn but his shot was blocked, a few good touches. I'd start him on Wednesday.
