Yeah but i thought his 2 game ban stood and he appealed against the 4 game extension to it

Will take another 1-0 result on Wednesday night! We cannot play Mulgrew at Centre Back, I remember Mark McGhee saying that he was not brave enough to play in this position and I agree with him. He did ok though but Aberdeen did not offer anything up front. Very important 3 points.

Spot on, I would go with the top midfield against Hearts, McGinn was nowhere to be seen today and Paddy again was a passenger so none deserve to start for me! Need a more solid midfield to play the wee Huns and Paddy shld do play his best position I.e super sub!

Positives were the result and again kayal and izzy were excellent.stokes and hooper shown some nice link up 1st half.negatives were McCourt running into players and not choosing a pass, mcginn again showing we need a right winger(can't fault his effort tho).also how many time did our players cut in from the wing and lose the ball 25 yards out.on another day against the Huns or hearts we could have shipped a couple of goals due to this

Jefferies should be more worried about playing against Hooper and Stokes than Lennon will be about facing Kyle.

The Stooper combo is the best partnership in Scotland :50:

Good win today. As far as I could remember mulgrew got the most praise and played the best I had seen him play at CH for Aberdeen.

We didn't create enough but wins like today are what we needed as it shows we have the mental strength to see out a tuff win (well I suppose the fact we won 1-0 means we didn't create enuff, but u know what I mean).

I thought when ljundberg came we went to pieces. Paddy wasn't playing one of his best but was still doing well and spraying passes, but when he went off we had no one to take the ball.

Listened to the fone in and I thought the remarks from keevins et all were wide of the mark. You would have thought that Aberdeen had had loads of chances and outplayed us. I can't mind any clear cut chances for them at all.

Looking forward to Wednesday now. Hail hail

A good and vital result that puts us in pole position, thanks to Hearts.
Stokes goal was not only crucial but a peach of a goal. I was also impressed with Mark Wilson at right back, thought he was very solid.

If big Dan has pulled his ham string then Lenny will need to get the cheque book out and pay for Wilson to come up immediately.
If not we could be in danger of throwing our advantage down the toilet, also McGinn can't start on Wednesday, totally AWOL today.

Good game very risky passes played mainly focused on the left side of the park in the first half to feed paddy he didn't play that very good. Stokes goal brilliant we need to pick up our game when we face hearts coming up on Wednesday night.

Not the best performance from the bhoys but efficient enough to secure the 3 points, we must improve to win on wednesday night against a difficult hearts side, a big test for the lads and one we must stand up to if we want the title this season

Another clean sheet, but I honestly think that we badly need a keeper who can command his area. We get too nervy when the ball is in the box and our keeper doesn't take charge.

Anyone know what the * that pass back situation was all about today ?

The Aberdeen midfielder clearly passed the ball back to Langfield and then he picks it up. Celtic take the quick free-kick and the goal is chopped off and Aberdeen are given a free-kick ?!?!?!
