I think Brown was going into the challenge and then remembered that he was already on a caution and didn't want to miss the Old Firm game. By then it was too late as the intent was there. Saying that the ref couldn't wait to get the card out. That Hamill is a * disgrace.

Overall a decent performance. First half we should have been out of sight and as usual the missed chances nearly cost us again.

Forster - 6 - Hardly any saves to make (if any) but kicking was terrible.
Wilson - 7 - Good solid game. Some nice touches here and there and some great crosses.
Majstorovic - 7 - I thought (bar the dodgy passes and panicky defending) he had a good game. Won lots of headers and shouldn't have been booked in my opinion.
Rogne - 6 - Quite a poor game from a man who looked promising last season. Played long ball every time and it didn't work.
Izaguirre - 8 - Absolutely outstanding as per usual. Defended very well against the quick Motherwell right winger who's name escapes me aswell as offering a lot going forward. Should have scored in first few minutes. We look to have solved the left back curse. Thank *.
Forrest - 6 - Quiet game by his standards. Had a few good touches here and there but didn't look interested at times.
Ledley - 6 - He has been receiving a lot of stick recently but I thought he had a decent game. Rarely gives the ball away and is pretty on the eye.
Brown - 7 - I thought he was very good tonight. Won the ball nearly every time he went in for a challenge. If he could just tone his aggression down and not go in for that kind of challenge when he's already been booked and is in danger of being suspended for the Old Firm game.
McCourt - 7 - I'll be controversial and say that I thought he had a poor game by his standards. Not many players have a poor game and score a winning goal like that. Let's just hope he can do it on Sunday without some big * like McCulloch breaking his leg.
Kapo - 6 - Didn't see enough of him but from what I did see he looked strong and surprisingly nimble for his size. Looks quite good for a free agent.
Stokes - 6 - To be fair he didn't get great service. The second half was just punting it up to him and hoping. Give him a chance and I'd like to think that he would take more than he would miss.
Murphy - 5 - I'm not going to judge him on what's happened before. Just this game. He was chasing shadows as usual and doesn't even bother to jump. The biggest roar of the night was when he went down injured.
Kayal - 6 - Looked calm and reassuring when he came on. Has got a big part to play on Sunday.
McGinn - N/A - His run from the dugout to the right wing when he came on was very good.

Not a great performance like Saturday but another 3 points. Let's hope that Lennon is turning fortunes around.

    Hail, Hail

I think you give him more credit than he deserves Marky I don't think he saw it at all, I think it was simply another Willie Collum scenario where the ref turns round sees someone on the ground and makes his decision from that.

I think celtic will appeal and the booking will or should be over turned.

I still think there is nothing up front and the midfield is lacking in a real battler........ and lets not talk about the defence.

But lets think about this - WOULD YOU TRUST LENNY TO SPEND YOUR MONEY IN THIS or ANY TRANSFER WINDOW?

    Bring back Wim Jansen !!!

    6-0

    M'well are a * team & we should have buried them 3 or 4 nothing !!!!!!!!!
But, oh, no, we have to huff & puff for a 1-0 win !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Don't know, who's to blame for our play, Lenny or the players.
But, hey 3 points is all that matters. So good on us.
But, this performance does not fill me with confidence for the Sunday game. Lets hope for the best & miracles do happen, we could end up beating the Huns 6-0 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:celt_2:

The problem is the referee will say the yellow was for intent rather than the foul, yes you could see he was pulling out and hammel said that too but the referee was looking for either Maj or Broony to get sent off so was silly to give him opportunity.

Great first half performance, poor 2nd half. Gave the ball away far to often and really didn't create enough. Ref lost control, a few players could have been sent off. Don't see why everyone's complaining about the red card- it was a shocking tackle and for a player who is our club captain and who has already been booked it was disgraceful.
