Joke of a display. The backwards and sideways passing was worse than ever, the two full backs were brutal going forward, Bitton slowed the game to a snail’s pace and the forwards were dire.

Such a disappointment given the context.

The fact is the huns aint capable of sustaining a challenge , we might drop points here and there but they'll drop more.

i agree....was just stating we've gained if anything at all!!

Plus a wee side bonus is it's hopefully given Aberdeen a wee shot in the arm for the orcs in midweek!!!

Put it this way if your 8 behind then drop points, forget it even if we drew today doesn't matter in the grand scheme.
We beat them its over. 11 or 14 behind they have Killie while we have Dundee before that,

Maybe it's a cunning ploy to give Aberdeen confidence for the Cup game :fear:

I mean if they don't put them out who will :56:

Have to remember Lenny's first two games away in Aul Reekie, it was a sore one today but for me anyway it feels worse than it is.

What would the answer be to the question, now Lenny is manager and your next three games are Hearts away,, Hibs away and Aberdeen at home, how many points would you be happy with the new manager getting seeing as he's not had any time to prepare or sign anyone?

I would've said I'd be happy with two wins and a draw :lager:

Who gives a * about the monkeys! We had a full house today and that was not a Celtic performance by any means. We take care of our own business and it matters not what any other * does.

    Definitely agree with this...

Such a big disappointment considering what was on the plate had we won the game.

Worrying the amount of chances we're creating atm...that performance was up there being one of the most boring this season.

For me Henderson and Johnston aren't quite up for a league run in like this .

Lennon might yet get a treble wich would give him some gravitas , but he may not be the man for the job and fans always comparing him to rodgers, then your looking at a gamble to try lead us to 10 or mourinho to make a statement.

I said the Hibs game was for points too lol, this is the problem for me when we win everything all the time, I don't even take notice of which tournament it is anymore, just as long as we don't get beat :56:

To be fair it looked a bit like Lenny was similarly affected, everyone thought that game was 3 points in the bag, even suggesting Aberdeen wouldn't play their first team cause they knew they had no chance and the Cup was too big a game for them to risk fitness and injury.

I don't know who'll be fit for Dundee but seriously, should it matter? If we don't have a squad good enough to win that game then we are in deep doo doo.

Thing is, I know our best team is way better than the huns but if you look at the GD in the table, they're way ahead of everyone else so it's not a sure thing they're going to drop a lot of points.

Maybe in hindsight it could be a blessing. A wake up call. For sure now we know what happens when we take our eyes off the prize. I believe Lenny will get us in the right frame of mind and if Callum and Tam are back for the derby, there will be a reckoning. Remember, Lenny was 15 points behind the previous mob when they were cheating and he still managed to over take them before they were docked.

Still, say they didn't drop any points, we'd still have to get beat 3 times or draw 4/5 times? Have we ever collapsed that badly?

As long as Lenny doesn't come out and say "I'd love it if we beat them, I'd love it." I'm not greetin' yet.

    Bitton was terrible.
Brown was excellent other than a few stray passes.
    Eddy should’ve started.
Johnstone is far too lightweight/inexperienced to have played against such a physical side.
    Ref was atrocious.

All being said i can forgive that performance as it’s been a tough few weeks for the players they deserve a bit of slack after the run of wins they’ve put together this year.

Ajer was excellent and seems to have picked up a wee half yard of pace, which he needed.

We were lucky they dropped points last night...
They'll rarely play a first half like that and not come away with a win...they fukin slaughtered Hibs and for me 3 points today was a must.

I don't think the league is done yet.
