    We’d like to put to bed, finally, all the speculation surrounding the club and especially the managerial position.
    We had a long and thorough search for the best candidate to take the club forward.
    After interviewing four fantastic candidates - we’d like to thank Rafa Benitez, Jose Mourinho and the next manager after this one, David Moyes for their time, patience and input into our search.
    So we are pleased to announce Neil Lennon as our new manager.
    Neil has signed an eight year contract and will keep in place our existing back room staff.
    Mainly at the behest of the club.
    We look forward to working with Neil again, even if the players aren’t and hope to enjoy a successful working relationship going forward.

    This is all because some o e overheard Willie Haughey say moyes was a good candidate.... Guy was in paddy Power yesterday when I was behind the counter asking the price for moyes then told me he knows someone that says Haughey said it..... Now every * is putting money on it...... For the record I don't think its moyes

    The worst of it is that Moyes is just using us to get his name back out there. He didn't even want to be here!

    He's aways been distant about Celtic and the Scottish league. Horrendous appointment.
