Hughton is only being mentioned because he’s just been sacked.

Personally I think he is more of a realistic target than 50%+ of those on the poll above Minty.

There's an 'other' option. You can change your vote whenever you like.

    I’d agree with you there.

Surely if it's been known Rodgers had been working his ticket for months before he slinked off we have been working on a possible new manager? The board couldn't just have stood still and hoped for the best? Any half decent manager should walk the league with us, here's hoping they make the right and not the cheap choice

Surely we could get at least one of Rafa, AVB or Chris Hughton. Absolutely no excuse for them to appoint Lennon now.

Rafa and AVB are both much better managers than Hughton. I don't want Hughton he's far too negative .

None of the candidates that seem realistic are exactly inspiring. I like Hughton as a manager, but he;s good at organising * teams and making them hard to beat. I don't know if that's what Celtic need.

What about Claudio ranieri? He's leaving Roma at the end of the season.

Don't know how to feel about Hughton at all.

I watched Brighton a couple of times this season and I don't really get the negative football comments, I was genuinely so impressed with their performance at Anfield, they played nice football and it wasn't pure park the bus like it could have been.

As well as that, he's shown at Newcastle he can build a team that scores goals but also at Brighton shown that he can set up to be pragmatic which we were sorely missing in Europe under Rodgers who had a one size fits all approach.

On the other hand, a lot of the fans of his former clubs are saying how * his recruitment was, I've seen Norwich fans talking about Van Wolfswinkel and a few Brighton fans mentioning him bringing in big money players he didn't know what to do with which is a worry, unless we get the Head of Recruitment position filled with someone that actually knows what they are doing.

I'm torn but I think I'm leaning more towards a point where I'd be quite happy with Hughton. That may just be because I don't want Lennon to be the permanent manager (although I'd love him around the club in some capacity) and the rumour mill has seemingly run dry.
