It's an astonishing feeling to be on the verge of an amazing achievement with a possible triple treble yet to feel so, I'm not even sure how to describe it, apprehensive & nervous perhaps, about the future beyond it.
This managerial appointment plus player recruitment this summer is so vitally important. I just hope our board get it right, I for one am still not convinced they will make the right decisions for us this summer.

**Edit – Yup. Apprehensive is definitely the word

I think Lenny is responsible enough to want Benkovic here next season regardless of whether he is at the helm or not.

Lenny has already said a while ago he is working hard on preparing for next season AND that he doesn't know if he will be manager then or not. Needs must, it would be mental to wait until the summer to start looking at players for next season.

Wouldn't think him being there is anything to do with us. Surely to * the board wouldn't let the new manager sit in the stands, watching Lenny and his team, undermining him.

I'd rather just give it to John Kennedy than bring in David Moyes.

I would rather give it to Craig Levein.

Agreed. Worse any manager who would resign Hooper, Stokes and Daryl Murphy(if true) is crazy.

No joke, so would I. Look up 'dinosaur' in the dictionary and you'll find a picture of David Moyes.

I absolutely believe John Kennedy is more in touch with the modern game than David Moyes. I totally stand by that statement.

Ian Cathro was much more in touch with the modern game than Craig Levein, how did that one work out?

Wee Lenny's feelings are way down our list of priorities.

Sometimes I get the feeling, those that advocate on Lennon's behalf are doing so, not because they genuinely believe in his abilities (whatever they are) but because they think it might offend Lennon if he doesn't get the job - and we can't be having that.

Does he deserve our thanks for stepping in when the snake left? Yes. But he was out of work after having left Hibs in the lurch - so it suited both parties, probably Lennon even more than us. And the football has been *. The tactics, the personnel, the formations, the substitutes. They most definitively have been *.

And contrary to what has been claimed. He didn't inherit a bunch of duds. He inherited a team 8 points clear in the league, having already won a cup, and in the QF of another cup. Yet there seems to be this nearly cult-like belief that as long as he doesn't oversee a spectacular capitulation then the job should be his - and anyone that says otherwise is a "Lenny hater". Well actually, a remit that is essentially 'try not to * this up' is a seriously unambitious criteria for any job, let alone the Celtic manager's position. Pointing that out forcefully isn't anti-Lennon, it's pro-Celtic.

Well his picture's there in mine. Also in my Spanish one. In my Chinese one, he's also there; but they censored his ginger hair.

Actually I also have doubts after yesterday. You may be right that he isn't quite good enough for us.

    He's not *, though. He just isn't.

Much though I don't rate Craig Levein, he's far smarter and more in touch than David Moyes.

He’s never managed a football club before. You would rather have a guy with zero experience of managing, than a guy who won LMA Manager of the Year 3 times. One of 4 managers to record 150 wins in the EPL. And only last season did a pretty decent job at West Ham to take them out of relegation.

    No worries.

And if you want to talk about out of touch with the modern game, all you need to do is look at Lenny, who you’re always keen to defend. He was stunned at the improvements made by Rodgers here. Hibs players have also commented on the improvements made my Heckingbottom since he took over from Lenny.
