Would it be possible to add under/over 2.5 goals to the coupons ? Always makes this mickey mouse epl pish more enjoyable when you are cheering on both teams. ( Unless of course you do it on the one game where De Gea decides not to be *. Well at least not until it is too late anyway.)

I'm not sure how that works to be honest. Can anyone explain how a game can have under or over .5 goals?

Still it should be possible to put up if odds exist and can be found.

if you bet over 1.5 goals anything over that i.e 2 goals wins

if bet is under 1.5 one goal wins 2 loses

edit below .5 goals would be zero to win

above .5 would be one or more to win

    both teams goals count

As Ronven says you are basically betting on there been more or less than a certain amount of goals in a game regardless of which team scores. It can be over 0.5 or 2.5 or whatever but the reason2.5 is most popular is because if you take the stats for all the top European leagues the average will be about 2.5 goals per game. They use the .5 bit to make it a decisive bet ie if you say over 2 then it could be less than 2 exactly 2 or more than 2. With over 2.5 it is either yes or no. Ie 0,1 or 2 and you lose ( if you have overs) 3 or more and you win.

2.5 allows the firms to make it a bit of a coin toss ie they can go 10-11 either way although some teams games have more goals in their games so the price on overs would be less.

I think you said you usually get your prices from Paddy Power.I think they would offer this bet so I don't think finding the prices would be a problem.

Just a suggestion. As I said it is one of those bets you can have on a game if you don't follow either of the teams and the nature of it means you always have an interest in the game.

Sorry I didn't explain that very well.

What I mean is with over 2.5 the bookie can say (on a 100% book) even money either way as there are only 2 outcomes over 2.5 or under 2.5.
If you say under/over 2 then there are 3 possible outcomes

    0-0,1-0,0-1 are under 2

1-1,2-0 or 0-2 would be exactly 2 goals

2-1 either way or one team scoring 3 or more would be overs.

So a bookie would have to price up all three

    For example unders =6-4

    Exactly 2 = 4-1

    Overs =6-4

I think TC bookie will stick to showing whatever the online bookie shows for under and over 2.5. :smiley-laughing002:

Just for something different... any chance of getting the top of the table A-League match between Central Coast Mariners and Western Sydney Wanderers? The match is this Saturday.
