Hey, I know this isn't the most fun topic but just wanted to see if anyone could offer an opinion :50:
End of the month my car insurance is up. I've been passed for three years with the same car and have 3 years no claims from the same company, eCar insurance.
Started off at £900, dropped to £600 and last year was £360. They've offered me a quote for this year of £365.
Obviously I wouldn't mind dropping this down since some people are paying less than £200! Anybody know any online or reputable companies that would offer something good? Any experience? Share! And thanks :celt_2:

get yourself on a money comparison web site like these one's
Insurance | compare cheap insurance quotes - moneysupermarket.com
Car Insurance >> Compare Cheap Car Insurance Quotes | Gocompare.com
Car Insurance - Cheap Car Insurance Quotes | Compare The Market
this is just a few that are out there but you are always better to swap company ever year to get the best deal as they dont reward loyalty but punish you for being lazy.
p.s tell us how you get on -

I work in insurance a rise of £5 from last year is pretty good based on the increase in rates. I would definitely take the advice of going on a comparison website and check out the best prices. Your quote is based on many factors mostly postcode, age, claims and convictions and mileage. Also your car insurance group makes a big difference you may want to check what that is.

I would also phone some companies for a quote,
because they don't all PAY to go on the comparison
websites.
I tried them(web sites) again this year,, £ 270 dearer for the nearest quote
to my own insurance company:50: -
remember you only get what you pay for...online insurance companies are often cheaper until you need to claim then generally your *!
