Do we honestly have the quality to beat inter? I hope we do but we need to sign some good players this jan if we were to have a chance. Just seen that inter have signed Shaqiri as well. Do use think we can beat them with our current squad?:50::celt_2::shamrock::50:

Maybe..

I can't see it unless RD is given money to spend on a couple of attacking midfielders.

They've just signed Shaqiri from Bayern:54: but nah I can see us giving them a game at Parkhead but they'll win comfortably over the 2 games

I'm sure this question was asked before the barca game in 2012. It's possible but it'll be very difficult.
-
Highly unlikely. Our defence can't cope under pressure and we can't keep the ball. Recipe for disaster. There's always a chance though.

Can we beat Inter? Obviously. What kind of question is that?
-
If we get lustig, denayer, vvd and izzy in top form, then we could do something.
But we need a better outlet for the right wing, we need scepovic and/or Guidetti to hit form as well. -
Naw, might as well give them a by to the last 16.
-
We could maybe win at home but it takes a lot to actually knock a team out.
We would need everyone to be at their absolute best, Inter to have a bit of a shocker and a bit of luck from the referee.
Tbh, I think Deila lacks the experience necessary to knock a team like Inter out at this level. Mancini will know exactly what to do in this tie. Hopefully Deila's learned from the Salzburg game and we play more steadily. The important thing is to keep the tie alive as long as possible.

I've got a good feeling about the Celtic park tie. But our defence has showed me nothing recently to give me the optimism for an away result. You never know. Don't feel we performed in the group and still qualified???

I don't think we will but hopefully we at least have a real go at it, they are 11th in their league so they're not world beaters either.

I had A LOT more confidence before this transfer window. Inter have brought in Podolski and Shaqiri whilst we, again, will rest on our laurels and end up signing someone from another SPL side.
We can beat them but the odds are stacked massively against us now.Last edited by a moderator: Jan 8, 2015 -
The only plus for us is that Inter Milan are only able to add 1 new player to play in the legs against us. So Podolski or Shaqiri will miss out.
-
But you just never know.... It's important we don't concede at home. -

Here's hoping they get some injuries or we get really lucky! :icon_mrgreen:
