    He's *, there's no getting away from it. If we're picking up Premier League failures, Jozy Altidore would be available and he was prolific at one stage in his career.

    He's a pacy guy that's decent at leading the line. He's the type of loan striker everyone on here wants.

    Not a great footballer though.

    I hope to * we don't sign him. Will add nothing to our squad except competition for a place up front. Will be more useless than stokes in Europe and will probably get a few goals in the league.

    Hope this isn't just the boards way of saying 'well you wanted us to spend money, so we have' an then when he's * they then take 'less risk' and sign all future forwards on a free...

    No he's not. He is hopeless on the deck and couldn't hit a cow's * with a banjo.

    Amido Balde is tall and pacey if thats all we wanted we could just stick him upfront and hope for the best.

    I also don't think you need a 6ft + guy to play upfront alone. As Hooper proved as long as you have the ability to shield the ball and play it comfortably on the deck then you can perform that role.

    Would be very surprised if this went ahead, the press have not got a clue what Celtic do. All incomings to the club have rarely been in the press up until the deal is virtually done. Even with the manager it was all guess work until Deila arrived.
