I can’t help but think he’s constantly carrying something just now. I hope to * I’m wrong.

Said it elsewhere but he’s been nowhere near as comfortable/dominant this season, so far.

Was great against the huns but I think he’s made quite a few errors in other games that he doesn’t usually make.

Agree with the feeling that he’s carrying a niggle. Only thing that makes sense.

Pretty sure it was a bruised bone in his foot, which can be agony, takes 12 weeks to heal.

He would sit out Sunday for me it is an obvious chance to give him a rest. Similar for Johnston who has had that niggle on International duty.

I know Falkirk are playing really well but if none of Ralston, Welsh, Nawrocki or Trusty can step in at that level they shouldn’t be there.

Tend to agree with what your thinking there. He hasn't been bad but he has made here and there a few mistakes that you just don't expect from CCV. I would be shocked if he was not rested on Sunday altogether and not even on the bench. Likely Trusty gets his debut from the start instead. Plus with no midweek game next week that hopefully gives CCV plenty of time to be back to 100% before we play in the league next weekend.

Seen reports that he could be a doubt for the Dortmund game.

We'll see by this weekend if that's true or not.

    Huge miss for us.
Hopefully a few games rest and he can make it....but not if it makes him worse and misses a chunk of the season.

CAMERON CARTER-VICKERS is an injury worry for Celtic ahead of their next Champions League tie against Borussia Dortmund in Germany.

The Hoops secured a Premier Sports Cup semi-final against Aberdeen with a hard-fought win over the Championship Bairns who led 2-1 at Parkhead for 70 minutes

USA stopper Carter-Vickers and Canadian full-back Alistair Johnston both missed the game through knocks – with the former the main concern.

Celtic face St Johnstone in Perth on Saturday before heading to Dortmund for Tuesday night’s big showdown.

And Rodgers is hoping key man Carter-Vickers will respond well to rest and treatment over the next few days.

The Celts boss revealed: “Cam has been suffering a wee bit with his metatarsal, below his big toe

We gave it a little bit of a period earlier on, a few weeks back, and he was okay.

“He's got a little bit sore, obviously playing back-to-back games, which is why we've given him today free.

“So, we'll just assess that and see how that is later in the week.

Fingers crossed he recovers on time.

Wouldn't be risking him at all vs St Johnstone if that's the case.

Give Trusty another game with a more settled defence.

I think Trusty is left sided, Nawrocki is right sided, so may run with Nawrocki. So long as its not Welsh.

Starfelt spent much pretty his entire celtic career playing LCB as a right footer and Trusty seemed more comfortable with his right foot then Starfelt ever did with his left. It'll really show where Narwocki sits in the pecking order if he does play over him there though.
