Whole game start to finish was frantic. Think it's more a reflection of that than anything else.

 

Hahaha that was the opposite, he suddenly thought he was Pirlo and inch perfect passed into open space, the most open, naebdy was there defenders or strikers

 

Aye just not something you usually see from him, I enjoyed seeing him adapt to being as good as he was when it was a different style that he usually bosses with, saying that shouldn’t be surprised at all he done the same the semi final digging deep, getting on the end of everything, fighting and putting his body on the line rather than what you usually see from him, he dominates through his positioning, and bullying opponents. He’s such an all rounder man.

 

We have some very important players but he’s the one guy that we can’t function without. He HAS to stay fit in the the remaining six games.

 

Honestly the impact he has being there compared to without him is comparable only to Henrik from my time watching us. I’m not saying he’s that level of player, I don’t think he’s Van Dijk level but I was much less worried without Van Dijk as much as I’d love him playing when he couldn’t.

There’s been others I hated being without, Broony from his 3rd season hated him not playing, don’t like being without Calmac, hated no Lennon or Lambert MON’s days as well.

But there’s only Henrik and CCV when I’ve thought it’s not just annoying and worrying if they weren’t available, it’s a completely different prospect and a different level we see on the pitch all over the pitch altogether.

 

What a defender. Think he was going to do the whole huns team too, guys a fkn beast.

 

I’ve a few mates that are fans of them, one of them is straight down the middle good football guy, supports them but knows football inside out. Said to me how the * can he expect any result when they couldn’t when we had no CCV, with him there it’s a prospect he can’t see them overcoming at all. The other ones, who’s generally biased as * rarely talk actual football without ripping the * biased opinions turned to 11, are * terrified of him.

And I’m terrified of him picking up another knock and being out for the run in. He plays every game, we win the league, he doesn’t I don’t think we will. Simple as that for me.

Adding back into it a fully fit Hatate and McGregor taking a burden off O’Riley, Kuhn’s sudden burst of form, Idah and Kyogo challenging to be number 1 choice up top, Maeda showing up now, Bernardo confident again after his trip away to the u21’s scoring coming back here goal and assist in 2 sub appearances, Palma on his way back…


From us being a weak as * squad all year, we’re suddenly overloaded with options, it’s making me think a bit have we been unlucky as * with our options we’ve had this season, and it’s not down to the squad being as weak as we’ve been saying all year. Bit of both probably but it’s coming together at the right time now

Was all over the place all day..

 

That was really unlike CCV today. He was never at the races today.

 

Miles off it today. Miovski rattled him early on and he was poor throughout.

 

Worst I’ve ever seen him.

 

Very nervy performance from him today. Not like him at all. But we'll forgive the the lovable fridge who is crucial normally for us.
