As with Jota we all knew he’d move on eventually. As long as we get a good fee and he stays fit in the second half of the season I’ll be happy.

 

The problem is we are getting good fees for the players we are selling like Tierney £25 million and we get Taylor and sell Jota £25 million we get Yang we are not properly replacing quality players and bringing in cheap signings .

I agree though that Taylor is never going to be anywhere near the standard to take us forward. Yang may well turn out to be but it's looking unlikely.

 

Him being injured actually benefits us this window, he wont be going anywhere.

I think a double will not be enough to repair Rodgers' reputation here. He needs to achieve something in Europe for that. If he's finally backed, I think he'll stay a bit longer; but if he thinks he'll not get the players he needs to do anything in Europe, I agree with you that he'll be off and I can't really blame him this time.

Been saying that would be the case since last summer. Barring ‘O’Riley the other 3s price has probably fallen unless they have a cracking second half of the season as they have hardly been fit.

See if we were a well run club from a recruitment point of view that wouldn’t be as big a worry as it now is. It’s also the reason the Goalkeeper and left back should have been sorted last summer.

Despite Harts decline it is still a position that is in a state, and we will need at least one in, same with left back. When you look at all that it is half a team that again will be needed in the summer. That’s mental when we seem incapable of balancing more than one deal at a time.

The issue is we get 25M for KT and * half it on Boli Taylor Benny a few deadbeat loans, instead if spending a sum like 4 or 5M to get a better quality player. Strengthen from a position of strength, not sleeping at the wheel.
