The deflection took the ball closer to CCV. He made the decision to leave it because he didn't know there was a man hanging about back post.

Wasn't the first time in this campaign. Wasn't the first time in that match in fact.

He's been poor in the CL this season, prone to a lapse in concentration. The kind of thing that if Starfelt did it folks would be spitting venom over.

He's escaped criticism because he normally looks a good level above everything in Scotland, but he's been really poor in Europe this season.

Something him, Scales and CalMac were also guilty of las night was playing either across the back, or towards the full backs without enough pace.

We got away with it for the most part, but a quicker forward line would have punished us. It is something we can work on for the next time.

Really hope he was just taken off as a precaution.

Played well, too. I don't mind Philips, but CCV better not be out...

Cameron just felt his hamstring so we did not want to take any risk. He hasn't pulled it or anything. He just felt it a bit tight and that is probably the accumulation of games. It is the one position which we haven't changed about so much because the continuity is very important with the two centre-halves. We took him off as a precaution.

Maybe it's because the game was already well won but defence had a few Benny Hill moments when he went off.

Doesn’t even bear thinking about losing him for any game never mind a prolonged period so correct decision to swap him out.

Now it’s time to play Nawrocki alongside him for a couple of games through choice before it ends up being a necessity and he’s not up to speed.

Hopefully nothing wrong as thats him just looking fully fit now with a bit of quickness back he was lacking a few weeks ago. Decent test against Youan and Boyle and he mopped up and won any race only really with Youan but was good to see him looking fully sharp again.

He was awesome first half, absolute nothing was passing him. I have no doubt, it he was on the park, we would have kept a clean sheet.

Similar to when VVD was with us, its not an easy task in a disorganised defence when the system is so expansive and against better quality. If we were to play more compact, you would see a better CCV.

Iv no doubt he could play a level or two above, the guy is a rock.

Why do we seem to get more injuries than most other teams? Anyway, just hope CCVs isn't serious as I'd need reinforced underpants watching a Phillips and Scales partnership

With our CB issues he should be taken off at HT every home game we are 2+ up in bar the scum. With the sub rule we have plenty now anyway. Gives him less chance of injury and it’s becoming a reoccurring theme now. Also gives our other CBs much needed minutes.

How is everyone from the midweek game? How is Cameron Carter-Vickers?

We'll assess Cameron over the next couple of days. He didn't pull his hamstring but we just had an MRI scan on that just to make sure he is okay. We are just awaiting the results of that.

Is there a chance he will play this weekend?

If the scan results show nothing then clearly.
