We haven't won a CL game at Celtic park in 10 years. We were one of the worst teams in it last season. Forgive my lackluster positivity for the upcoming games

Oh, if you mean the team, I'm with you all the way. I just don't agree about CCV. I think he's easily one of our best players and I thought you were implying that he would inevitably repeat this mistake.

Yeah, if you mean we, Celtic, are inevitably going to repeat it, I'm 100% on the same page.

What’s the few goals he’s cost us?

He’s played 3 games. He’s nowhere near County’s 2 goals. Aberdeen goal is good, he didn’t actually defend it badly, he’s hardly “cost us”.

Don’t know why people in our fanbase just make * up.

Im more worried about him being injured again before he's fit, hopefully doesn't start at the weekend.

Seems he's only really played again because Phillips isn't fit to play a whole game either and probably safer to put an unfit CCV on than Iwata.

For me shouldn't even really play at the weekend, i'd start Phillips and then give Lagerbielke the 2nd half or last half hour.

We forget but CCV has played like 3 games of football in 6 month and hasn't even had a pre-season. He's a good month at least away from being properly fit and in shape.

I would say he's one of the very few players that is CL quality or close to it. However, I take your point. I don't ever really remember him looking outstanding for us in Europe like he does in Scotland. But that's the case for most of them. He had a few dodgy moments in last year's CL though, and I'm sure I read somewhere that Jenz actually had better stats than him (if you're a stats guy).

Still, by far one of our best and most important players.

There's been many a dumb post on here, but this takes the cake.

CCV is one of the few players that is, undoubtedly, CL quality. When fully fit he's a fantastic player.

Also your last line is a straight up lie, he's been injured, and was not at fault for any goals when he was fit.

You sir, are an absolute *.

I've shared this opinion with many people; with intellects and purveyors of fine confectionery and also health care professionals....they all agreed you are an absolute *.

Can I request my account be deleted permanently please?

(No smart * who've had Internet run-in's with me previously use this to start * cheers)

Great to see him back, looking forward to seeing him partner Scales. Or maybe even Philips with Scales on the left.

    Welcome back

So again just to be clear. U think an experienced manager has gone against the advice or simply ignored the advice of medical personnel?

And this assessment is based on the fact ur still butthurt that he left 5 years ago?

And you don't have an answer to who else would have played the last half an hour no?

It was odd he put him on last night - ccv looked a bit unsure himself which is not like him - otherwise br did well enough but this sub just felt off as soon as it happened

Absolute shitshow losing the ball in that position with so little time left. He's a great player but that was * *, if that had been Scales or Taylor the knives would have been out and they would have been called all the names under the sun. He * it.

Still love the big guy but the loss was down to that one mistake imo.

Whoever passed the ball to him was at fault.

*Shrugs* Then you were wrong, weren’t you? As proven by the fact that when the crunch came, he couldn’t handle it.

Game came far too soon for him mentally, after being out for that length of time, and before you go playing the logically empty ‘majority’ card, you should’ve scrolled back to see there were plenty of us who wanted him kept out of it too.

No way, not buying that. What about whoever passed the ball to whoever passed the ball to whoever passed the ball to whoever passed the ball to whoever passed the ball to him tho?
