    I always hate when big heavy bulky players are played when unfit as well as they are always likely to damage themselves. CCV still looked about 4-6 weeks away from really being fully fit when we were playing him.

    Now even when he returns it will be the same again, we won't see him fully fit and playing well for months now it seems.

    I've seen a few posts on CCV being out until Christmas and it's not true.

    The timescale is unknown and they are monitoring how he reacts to treatment but the expectation is weeks rather than months. He's not having an operation for the injury. I doubt he'll be fit for Ibrox.

    Things can obviously change and he may well need an op further down the line but that's not the club's view at the minute.

    With the international break coming up, that's a relief and a half.

    Out until Halloween basically, same timescale as Welsh I believe?

    As long as Nawrocki is back after the international, I don't think we need another CB. We should hopefully, once CCV is fully back, have enough depth to slowly bring him back into the team.

    Edit: Just seen that Nawrocki's out for 2 months as well, I rate Scales but that's too risky to go that long with no credible CB, will need another, even if it's short-term.
