I can confidently say I think he will stick around. I don’t think many players will leave in the summer.

I’ve not seen our team this settled and happy in years. They all love it and all seem to get it. I get everyone has their price but I have a good feeling.

There’s a good few in this team now for me, I’d be as gutted with CCV, Hatate, Jota, Kyogo as I was with Tierney. Feels like a special connection with this team, the Celtic team in my heart will always be MON’s. I’m getting there with this one to those levels. * even Hart, Ralston, Maeda, Abada…

Got a feeling he’ll stay till January at least but you never who might come in for him, all we know for sure is that he wont be going anywhere on the cheap.

 

Honestly mate I was saying this last night with my mates, as a pure defender and consistency wise, he’s above Van Dijk for us. As all round and especially on the ball, and for potential yes I’d have Van Dijk as miles ahead. But as a defender, CCV is far more solid.

Yes, I have said it before, CCV is a better defender for us than VVD was.
VVD did progress on to be world class and there is no reason CCV wont do the same.
Unfortunately for us, that will require a move.

 

Hard to believe just how good he is. The guy never makes a mistake. Like.. ever. The most important player in our 11 and I even include Cal in that.

When I said he was 2nd only to Van Dijk in CBs I'd seen in the last 20 years they started mocking the standard of the league.

Scouts & managers don't look on our league with the same disdain they used to, after the success of some players that have went down but I still don't think we'd get the fee he deserves this summer based on what he's done.

If Juranovic was £7m after being MoTM against Brazil in front of billions, what price would we reach for CCV?

 

Couldn't agree more. He could go into any side in the EPL and not look out of place.

 

I think that’s more down to the days of a good World Cup or stand out performance getting you a top move are more or less over.

Most signings will be data driven now from the word go, and will be analysed over a much larger period of time.

As good as he was for us, Juranovic demonstrated poor defensive tendencies in big games, and therefore there was a ceiling to the team he was going to go to.

 

Saw a tweet saying he's apparently not being called up to the USA squad.. should be looking at signing up whoever is keeping him out of that team.
