Really delighted for him. Would be interested to see how he gets on starting a game but was the perfect player to come on yesterday

Just another example of the fact, that whilst Rodgers was dealt a * hand, he refused to make the best of it.

Which makes his re appointment a real head scratcher, as he's got history for having a * attitude to players he feels have been foisted on him.

Osmand should start the next game he's elegible for, but if St Martin doesn't want to rush his development, I'd be happy to see him get about 30 mins

I think he will get a start vs Killie next Sunday. I actually think he could play wide as well as through the middle. He has the pace and a bit of trickery to get at a full back. He is very mobile and showed similar against Falkirk.

Might seem a minor point here, but did anyone else notice how smart Scales was here? Ran over celebrating, but quickly realised there was potential for bookings if the players kept moving into the crowd and just kept pushing them back onto the pitch... With an outright Hun ref, that was a clever play!

I agree. He looks like he is brimming with confidence, always a good quality in a young player trying to break through into the first team. That'll be Kenny and Osmand vying for the striker role now.

Where does that leave Iheanacho now do you think ?

I think all 3 could contribute but maybe with Osmand not being in the European squad we could give him more responsibility in the league and cup matches… think Ihenacho looks like he might only be managing 1 game per week until he builds his fitness.

It’ll be interesting to see what MON would see the pecking order being next time everyone’s fit!

I think you are right again.

Iheanacho has that one quality which is vital in the game, and can't be bought, experience, and both Kenny and Osmand would do well I think, to learn as much as they can from him during training sessions and Vis-à-vis situations.

I do admire Iheanacho's hold up play, positional sense, and of course, he is a reliable penalty taker too. Just need to keep him up to match speed.

I do agree, all three will have a role to play, and the main difference with MON, from past experience, is that he will judge and select players on merit, rather than some personal preferences or sentiment.

Callum McGregor speaking about him yesterday

The same with young Ozzy (Callum Osmand), who's worked so hard. There have been times when he's been out of the squad, but he's a player who trains so hard every day and has a nice finish as well.

"He's just going to keep developing, and strikers with confidence can go and conquer the world."

Miles quicker but that was a proper Hooper type finish. Some of his runs off the ball quite similar..

Made sense to leave Iheanacho out and give Osmand this game.

Iheanacho gets a gew extra days to recover and get some training, Osmand isn't it Europa sqaud,.but can return for the game on Sunday.

All good. He'll be absolutely cramping at the bit to get playing again. Look forward to seeing more of him.

You can tell that yesterday meant a lot to him as well, which is nice to see. Hopefully it’s just the beginning of great things for him.

Aye, he's more of a buzzbomb no doubt. Hooper didn't have that side to his game. But in terms of physique, movement, instincts etc. looks very like the big man. Definitely looking forward to seeing more of him.

Gutted he isn't available for Thursday. Will mean he likely starts Sunday though. I'm sure he'll be chomping at the bit to get back on the pitch again after yesterday.

I hope to * people dont get too carried away. Has bags of potential but far too early to say he's the answer or to try rely on him.

Give him more game time but manage it if we can, otherwise the expectations can become massive and fans are known for only giving players a few games before turning on them.
