Definitely not good enough in there IMO. Certainly an area we need to strengthen, I'd kill for a Joe Ledley type in there. That boy Delaney that's been mentioned a few times looks perfect.

 

Needs to get the ball on the deck more often .

 

Don't see what this guy brings to the team atall, like an empty shirt.

Bullied off the ball far too often and very rarely commits himself to win the ball back, think we should really be looking to get someone else in this window.

Like Armstrong, he's not good enough.

Brown is playing much better. We need to compliment him with 2 midfielders who are comfortable on the ball and won't get pushed around.

 

Just never does enough, hopefully we bring in another few players and he can be loaned out. Just don't think the guys good enough.

 

They are both 'decent' players in my opinion, but decent isn't good enough to start for Celtic. Don't mind them as squad players but on current form they aren't offering much at all.

I think Bitton and Sinclair will replace them soon.

 

Still a good squad player and far better than armstrong. I agree we need to add a midfielder but i think mcgregor has a role to play this season.

 

I didn't think he was as bad as most think he was today.

Good homegrown versatile player to have around the squad as a backup in my opinion. Not as bad as Armstrong.

 

Had a hand in the first. Drives forward like Armstrong can't. Is a much better attacking threat than Armstrong is. Decent today..

No brainer between the two..

 

Harsh from a few on here. Was a bad day but he has been fantastic towards the end of last season and can be the heartbeat of the team on his day.

 

McGregor is decent at best but he's not good enough to be a regular starter at Celtic.

 

Not a big fan of McGregor. I'd love him to be Celtic class, but I think he falls short of the mark. I'd probably say he's living off some good form when the team around him was very poor and now he's returned to his base level, which is below what we need.

We'll need better quality in the midfield and I believe we can get better in.

 

Been disappointing the last 3 games or so, just when I was beginning to really rate him. Seems like he's short on confidence or something. Doesn't seem to be getting into the spaces he was beforehand, and as a result doesn't look as dangerous.

 

Not consistent enough and needs to work on his strength got brushed aside a too easily today against a physical Hearts team.

 

The boy is definitely good enough. He has been good enough to carry us in several games before. Albeit he wasn't great today but he is one of our better CM's

 

Got overpowered today by a physical hearts side but for me has undoubted quality. Carries a goal threat & a creative spark from CM, which outside of Rogic (who plays further forward, if he does play) we badly lack. Passing is usually tidy & inventive & generally puts a shift in. Not been on it recently but will come good.

 

He's not been at the standard the last few games, been very disappointing - I expected a lot from him this season, he needs to stand him and assert himself. Otherwise he wont make it here.
